Friendliness Relaxed atmosphere Snooker table Great view
The barman was friendly
The location of the place The images is misleading The towels were stained Breakfast was poor We left a day early
Lovely friendly management and staff and facilities.
A bit noisy and roudy with people attending external conferences and coming back drunk and no consideration for other guests at the hotel. Very noisy and inconsiderate. Firewood was wet so smoked our room out but that can be fixed. Don't know about drunk conference going delegates though.
Facilities were clean, staff were very competent, great location, aircon and fireplace in the room
Very noisy environment - water pipes made a noise when other rooms opened their taps, complex behind the hotel is noisy late in the evenings and early in the mornings, breakfast were dissapointing with a small selection, fireplace did not work properly with a lot of smoke in the room
My car broke down and yhe staff went out their way to assist where they could. The Spa was exceptional and was just what I needed after a tough breakdown. Thank you for carinh
The room, the warmth of the staff , the treament in general and the food. We will definitely visit again
No soap or shampoo packs on the second night, like we had found on the first night, fortunately we brought ours with.
Nice comfortable room good quality linen. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was great. Will return and can recommend.
Food at restaurant Nice comfortable rooms Beautiful surroundings
Renovations- a necessary evil I suppose No mountain view from our room
Views, quality of rooms very good
shortage of cupboard space, problematic for longer stay, terrible pillows.
Spectacular mountain and valley views from the lounge. The food was very tastey and not expensive. The staff are helpful and friendly.
Our room did not have a view
iT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW THAT THE PLACE WAS BEEN RENOVATED. WE WERE UNABLE TO SPEND ANY TIME AT THE HOTEL DURING THE DAY DUE TO THE NOISE AND UNPLEASANT ACTIVITY GOING ON ARROUND YOU.
The rooms are comfortable, clean and up to standard. The view of the mountains was awesome.
Give the spa and restaurant a miss! Had a light lunch on first day of arrival and spent the night ill in bed as a result. The service from the kitchen is excrutiatingly slow. The spa is not nearly up to standard. The room we received had no windows, no climate control system and no fan. It was a very hot day and it was swelteringly hot inside the room. The therapy beds are made for lightweighted clients and were thinly padded hence uncomfortable. The beds were covered with blankets. Very hot and unhygienic. The towel under the blanket had a huge dirt stain right where I had to put my face down. Definitely worth a skip. There was a heavy rainstorm overnight and in the morning around 8 we went down for breakfast. I find it noteworthy that no attempt was made to mop up the puddles of water we had to wade through on a tiled staircase and patio. It was an accident waiting to happen. Not what one would expect from a 4 star rated establishment. The bed in our room had a sheet that was not a fitted one and it kept pulling up and off the bed. Some of these comments, esp the sheet and restaurant issues we found were previously posted by other guests but despite apparent new management it seems its same old same old.
Beautiful location. Room not ready on arrival until 15h30. Not able to have a spa treatment. Duvet too warm. Would not return.
Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were disappointed to pay R650 per night for a room with no view at all. I can understand paying that for a room with a view.
Very friendly staff. Excellent menu and good prices! Food was great.
Lovely rooms friendly staff
Having to carry my luggage up the steps to the rooms. Slow service in dining room
The friendly and professional staff going out of their way to make the stay pleasant
Nice setting just a few meters out of town.
