-located right on the river -excellent breakfast -friendly staff -near great restaurants/bars/ocean
-bathroom was a little dated, but overall clean
It was a lovely stay. Staff were great and friendly. Room was very comfortable, artistically and tastefully decorated and peaceful. Location also great and very quiet; breakfast very tasty. Three minute walk to the closest restaurant where we enjoyed our meal very much and which was not expensive. Would gladly go back any time.
breakfast, location, canoes
Coming back to a special place and a gracious hostess.
The bath collapsed -a foot fell off.
Fabulous location, beautiful room with style, comfort and great attention to detail, and really excellent staff who were friendly, helpful and always ready to assist. Great Siamese cats too - they added their own welcome! Best B&B I've stayed in.
Liked everything though perhaps breakfast could have a bit more variety - eg croissants!
Great welcoming, excellent facilities, room very clean, host extremely professional.
Thatch roof. Comfortable bed. Amazing coffee.
The breakfast menu could be improved. I had an omlette on one day that was rather strange.
The Room we staid in (Moontide Lodge) had a disturbing smell!
The peaceful relaxed atmosphere. The very well informed helpful staff made sure we got the most out of our stay.
Selina's fish restaurant had no fish!
Great location, within easy walking distance to beach. Beautiful setting on the lagoon. Friendly staff. Rustic rooms with lots of character.
No aircon, which made room a little stuffy (moonriver room). However temperature dropped by night so fan was sufficient.
The hospitality was amazing - from social gatherings with our host and other guests for complimentary wine and snacks some evenings out on the deck overlooking the lagoon, to being very helpful with suggesting places to see in the area. Our stay was wonderful, our room (Moontide 2) was excellent, very large and spacious. Breakfast was even better, both cold continental and hot cooked meals. Would definitely recommend this lodge and will happily go back in the future.
lovely spot no traffic bothering you.
I was in the room attached to the main house. There are photos on the wall leading from the bedroom to bathroom. They need to be removed as I knocked one photo off while trying to close the bathroom door.
Caring and supportive team - always ready to assist and guide. Will most certainly book the stone cottage again!
Breakfast Delightful staff Great bathrooms
Location and the hot river!ho
Helpful staff. I liked the rooms. All are different and special.
Very nice, romantic location. Very individual/unique accomodation. Nice staff.
The guesthouse seems to have past its haydays and is in need of some TLC.
The guest house is sublime, the attention to detail and warmth is intoxicating. it really was a very relaxing stay. Great location also and the breakfast is well worth the visit!
leaving the place!!!
Beautiful setting, friendly and professional host. Lovely room and great breakfast
Would have liked more tv channels.
The staff were extremely efficient and friendly especially the Manager - Tim. There was a lovely choice of cooked and buffet breakfasts which could be eaten either in the dining room or out on the deck which overlooked the Touw River. The room we had was quite large and had a well designed bathroom and separate walk in wardrobe. I would recommend this Guest Lodge to all!
