What made my stay very unpleasant, was that the kitchen cupboards were full of cockroaches
unfortunately there were too many flies.(insects)

We liked the area.
1. Receptionist was unfriendly, didn't even smile back! 2. The fridge had rotten food which we had to clear and clean since it was stinking and we had stuff to refrigerate, each time we opened it the first day it stank. 3. The balcony was full of bird poo which was never cleaned. 4. The microwave makes a very loud noise on operation. 5. On our second night, I had the security and guest from room b banging the door down cause they needed us to open the main door which we had locked not knowing that the key to room b does not work and couldn't open. No one told us not to lock the main door which I was uncomfortable with in any case. 6. We were told to park on the street or pay for the inside parking. 7. It's a self catering but there is no stove. 8. No window handle in the bathroom window, so it's only pushed but not securely closed or locked. 9. The room needs upgrading.
No wifi, no air on, given incorrect room - no sea view for price paid , no dining area or facility, have to pay additional for parking
The room smelt miff and after complaining to staff nothing was done to resolve the problem.The furniture is very average and for the price a person would expect something better.The chair on balcany will calapse if been sit on.On arrival the bathroom had long black hair on floor and in bath not well cleaned.I visit Cape Town 3/4 times per month but i will not be staying there again and web site photos definitely not was seen in person ????
Staff were very helpful and the location is excellent
The shower didn't work very well - the shower head neded cleaning, and the tea-bag, mike etc container wasn't refilled after the first day. There was very minimal utensils and cutlery - 2 knives, 2 forks etc and no scissors or any other similar eqipment.
The 2 ladies at the front desk were superb and very very helpful when I had to check out after hours and they looked after my luggage. Please convey my appreciation to theM.
The fans in 103b are low. I don't think there is anything you can do about it but as I was putting on my shirt in the morning and raised my hands, the fan blades whacked my elevated hands. You probably need to put up a warning sign In red, because it is a potential hazard. If the fan is running at full speed it can potentially fracture a digid or rupure a wrist artery depending on how the hand is orientated.

Location was perfect for what I wanted
I was kept waiting more than 15 mins to check in as no reception staff were around. I spoke to 2 other members of staff from the office but neither offered to check me in. No.610 only has slatted blinds which don't fit very well so do a poor job of keeping the light out. I was woken very early on my second morning by bright sunlight. No balcony on my room
The location was excellent and the room fairly clean. The bed was comfortable and the linen had a fresh homely smell to it.
The bathtub is at an angle so every time we had a bath, the water would run over onto the floor, making us use the only towel supplied to dry it up. The tea and coffee was not replaced every day so we could only make use of it on the first day.
Reception was very professional and friendly.
I was there for 5 days. After the first day, the room was cleaned and everything was replaced. From there on, the shower gel wasn't replaced, some days the coffee and sugar wasn't replaced. And there were some places that wasn't cleaned properly. It just gives the impression that the longer you stay, and the more money you spend the less service you get. And I'm sure you don't want that. For the same money you can go to a b&b and for less, get better service and breakfast every day.
