Nations Lodge is a work in progress. From the outside, there's a lot of work, renovations and building going on… and it's nothing to look at… but the rooms themselves are brand new, recently renovated and have all the necessary comforts. We were offered supper upon arrival (R50 per head) and we received a very generous home-cooked meal.
This is probably my fault (I should have checked the location before booking) but Nations Lodge was not a convenient choice as a stop-over whilst travelling on the N1. It's on the other side of Bloemfontein - near the airport. So it would be a good choice for those who need to be close to the airport… but an inconvenient choice for those using the N1.
Rooms are recent and nice.
Hot water but not in the shower, very old shower, almost no water despite everything is brand new. No breakfast served.
