New Kings Hotel    

We liked everything of the hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful, the food was 5 star, the room was clean and warm. We would definitely stay there again, either for leisure or business.

The rooms and the view are beautiful and the breakfast is to die for!

The room was comfertable and the breakfast was good. The location is good.

It was difficult to find the Reception desk on our arrival, we also didn't know were to park.

They have friendly staff and the hotel presents a serene ambience.

The hotel design

Internet access - vouchers are for 100mb. You have to keep on asking for several vouchers every day and you have to log on every single time even when the voucher didn´t expire. Parking - you have to stamp the parking ticket everytime you go out.

Room was great. Beakfast was excellent. View of the beach is fantastic.

Would have loved to have taken a nice, luxurious bath at the end of a hectic day. A blind behind the curtains would have been great to still enjoy the view but still affording the necessary privacy.

Proper access to car parking without stamping access ticket at Reception everytime you want to go out. Only SABC 3 channel available. No 1, 2 and eTV

Beautifully appointed, super-clean room with a huge comfortable bed. Spacious, modern bathroom. Lovely breakfast room with a beautiful view of the ocean. Quality breakfast with good variety - my children loved that!

Very noisy aircon - impossible to use while sleeping. I think for this type of upmarket hotel, an upgrade to the newer, super-quiet aircons would be expected.

Clean rooms, convenient location, shops and restaurant nearby.

Would have liked to have a more clear view of the ocean.

Very cycle-friendly approach for the Argus weekend. iPod dock in the room.

Clean, friendly staff, great food, beautiful room, free wifi, spacious, cute bath, central, well organized, professional, not too big and too luxurious, windows can open, close to the sea.

No hair dryer.

The size of the room

The phone was not working so I had to go downstairs everytime I need something. There was no laundry services there was no remote control in my room the staff took tool long actually they brought the remote the next day after I went three times to report the phone and the remote. They promise to rectify the phone but until I left it was never attended to with no explanation what so ever I have ask the staff to ask the manager to call me till todate I have not recieved a call from the manager I will never use this hotel ever and I will never encourage anyone to make use of it

The staff was very friendly and accomadating. Rooms are spacious and private. Breakfast was wonderful

Room not very clean. Old fashioned, noisy air-conditioning.

The mountain view from our window was fantastic. The lifts worked very efficiently. Easy access to the parking garage was good. Having a restaurant and shopping facilities close at hand. As we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, the rose petal heart on out bed was a very nice thought.

The wash hand basin outlet had no grid, with the possibility of loosing small items easily.

The room was spacious and "sexy". Good value for money. Interesting little restaurants on ground level. Breakfast room with view of ocean.

The original room that we got was not what the photos on the internet portrayed, had to ask to be moved to appropriate room

The restaurant offers a beautiful setting and staff friendly. Upon request to have my room earlier the receptionist attended to it very professionally.

The hotel lift is extremely hot baking in the sun. Perhaps the windows could be tinted. Comparing price, a boutique hotel in the same area and closer to Beach Road is much more luxurious and better priced - R900 including breakfast. For instance, hand lotion, shampoo, cotton wool, ear buds, soap are ample and of good quality and not fastened on the walls prison style. No hair dryer in room? iPod did not function on room's speakers.

Overall staff and room, although not the best view out depite asking for quiet and with views.

The constant need to get key cards reactivated throughout the 11 day stay, and not being able to have shower room or late checkout when our flight was for 10 PM. We went an evening earler to avoid waiting around.

I loved the location and comfort the Hotel provides, together with the close proximity to all amenities. It was an added benefit to have the breakfast inclusive, which was generous in the selection, and the undergroud parking facilities. A truly delightful experience!

The booking was gifted to couple and the hotel requested payment from the guests even though they had my contact details for payment. The guests complained there was no bathroom towels or hairdryer when checking into the room. After I complained directly to the hotel personnel no apology was forwarded to either myself or my guests.

Hotel is very well located, between city centre and camps bay. We saw a fair enough number of young people there as well as families. Staff is friendly and rooms are spacious enough. It is located on top of a set of stores,so if theres anything extra needed , conveniently can go downstairs to buy it.

Its a little bit hard to find it. I had to call the reception for direction, until a realised I was just on the next door. It would be easier if they informed that they´re on top of the pick and pay.

The room was very big and had a high ceiling. Neat, clean and late night check in went smoothly.

There was no hair dryer in the room. When we asked for one, we were told that if not returned at check out at the reception, we'll be charged 100 rand.

I like the fact staff was very helpful and the location was near by everything
