New Kings Hotel was a great place to stay because of location, comfort, could go for walking along seaside. This was great. Breakfasts was just excellent. Staff was very eager to help. I truly got good value for my money. Would stay here again any time, also will tell my friends about it, in general its just a great place. In evenings you can have a great meal downstairs in courtyard. A safe place to stay at, rooms was clean and very neat. Hope to get tHe same price again. Great just great. What a view when having breakfast outside on the porch. Just loved the sea view. This was just a great experience!!!!!! Thanks again.....!!!! No dislikes, just loved the plce....

Superb setting. Well positioned for all the main attractions in Cape Town. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Fabulous breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff! I can highly recommend this hotel to any traveller!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and the bed in particular. We also enjoyed the breakfast offerings. Sometimes continental breakfast means a bowl of Oaties and juice, so we were pleased with the big spread. Minor, but I wasn't wild about the coffee in the room -- though I love have a coffee press. Perhaps we were spoiled by the Vida e Cafe downstairs?

I really liked the ipod speaker system and the ocean view. The design was modern, clean and hip. The hotel is a bit stingy on the amenities. There wasn't any soap or tissue paper in either of the sinks. They should really provide at least the bare necessities like hand soap for each sink! The maids didn't clean the bathroom properly and there were hairs from the previous guest behind the door. It was still there after the second day of my stay, so clearly, they aren't cleaning that thoroughly.

The location was ideal and convenient. Price was right and food was good. Staff helpfull and friendly. Was a pleasure staying at the New Kings Hotel. Would recommend it any day. Parking was always available and safe.

I really liked the location , it certainly suited my pocket and definetely was very easy to get around.Breakfasts ...hmmm... Yummy!!! It needs a more exciting lounge area. Also what would be nice , if one could have some light meals when watching the sunset from the bar area.

Great hotel, rooms were nice, clean, modern and comfortable. Great value. Location was ok, bit far from downtown but close to the hop on/hop off bus stop and nice to be right beside grocery store, cafes etc. I would book and stay at New Kings hotel again. Also changed my reservation online with no issues.

Great experience, staff were really great for a late night check-in. Even brought an Internet Voucher to the room after 11 pm The hotel is well appointed above a shopping centre. The contemporary urban chic design and the spacious rooms provide for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is really good

The Ipod shuffel docced stand. I didn't like the food, it was very poor quality. The towels weren't changed at all. The room was not regularly cleaned - it was only cleaned once from the whole 3 and half days we were there. The service is terrible. They gave no complimentary water. The hotel is very noisy.

Ideal for access to beach at Sea Point area of Cape Town. Car parking (free to hotel guest), safe & secure. Staff were more than helpfull, I.e information where to go, what to see, general ideas on what to see whilst in the Cape Town area. Use of margerine instead of butter on bread products, I.e toast at breakfast !!
