Some light is needed in passage during load shedding - maybe some LED lights attached to the wall?
Rooms are comfortable and Breakfast is Excellent
On checkin we were told Breakfast is served from 9am. In fact it is 7- 9am. Lucky we asked a special "favour"to eat at 8am!! So..Staff member must get his facts correct. Then, the standard room is situated on a car park. On Sunday morning someone started their Diesel motor vehicle up at around 6am and then.... Left it running for about an hour. This was outside our room. So, don't book a Standard room?
Room was clean and tidy. Simple breakfast.
Parking was tiny, difficult to exit. I felt a bit rushed by the hostess in the morning due to her voice tone in call before checkout.
Reception was incredibly warm and personal. And breakfast was great. Pool was also appreciated at the end of a hot day.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT
THERE WAS NOT A BATH TUB, MY WIFE WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO A GOOD BATH. THE SHOWER HAD NO HOT WATER.
Shower was cold.
wonderfull friendly staff, so close to the shops. Had a good night rest :)
2 single beds in the double room
Good location, very clean, old villa-styled hotel. Spacious room with excellent stylish, modern bathroom. Good breakfast. All round very good value for money.
Old fashioned TV in room with wrong picture aspect ratio. Slightly noisy - road traffic outside in the morning (our room was on the front facing the road - the garden rooms would probably have been better) and wooden floors in the night when someone used the guest loo on the half landing below.
The room door
the staff were very friendly and helpful and accomodating. the breakfast was good and the accomodation was clean.
the bed was hard and the duvet was not that fluffy, not the best nights rest.
The staff were friendly and the place was clean. It was good value for money
Our room was over the kitchen so we were woken up very early with the noise coming from below. The kitchen staff were shouting rather than talking to each other and there was a lot of clattering and banging. Not pleasant at 6.30 am on a Sunday morning.
Friendly reception, clean and spacious room
Bit noisy but was good stay ,think it could be o tad cheaper ,but staff were good
Toilets were leaking ,and a bit noise to the front of the guest house ,,the rooms are not dark enough in the evenings
Staff very helpful, room big enough and comfortable.
On arrival rooms was not ready.
Lovely guest house in a perfect location. Comfortable spacious accommodation. Excellent breakfast. Friendly efficient staff. And our forgotten items were ready and waiting for us to collect two days later!
Very central with an abundance and variety of restaurants.
Good size room with good bathroom. Swimming pool was good, breakfast was average.
Problem with the AC in the room, was fixed but still not cool enough just about bearable. Room was at the front so there was some noise from the main road
Very helpful attitude of staff. Proximity to vineyard (and its restaurant)!
Location fine for us, but a little out of the main area of Paarl
Excellent location, good value and very clean!
Not enough towels and no face cloth, no hairdryer in the room!
