Good location and cheap, perfect if you are on budget

our first room had an unpleasant aroma throughout but the obliging and good humoured man at Reception, Jones by name, very quickly upgraded us to a much better room for little extra cost.

Good location close to centre of Plettenberg Bay.

Room was reasonable, and breakfast was good. Good location for town centre restaurants etc.

Room could have been bigger, and bathroom smaller. Reception shut at 7.00, and wifi did not work in the room.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Location central and easy to find.

Over keen staff cooked breakfast too soon, resulting in cold fare.( Corrected the next day!) Impersonal welcome at check-in, but also later improved. A bench for suitcases would make for more ease of movement. Glasses were dirty.

Furnishing was eccentric: open freezer and bunk beds in main room. Place was a bit down at heel.

Very easy to find and great location. Able to walk to the Main Street in the evening. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment for 4 adults. Would recommend if staying for an overnight and not expecting too much as it was a good price.

The braai facility was extremely dirty and put us off using it. The actually "living" area is in the kitchen and is not very big. There were only 2 chairs or kitchen stools. It was fine for us as we were only staying 2 nights and were out most of the day but not ideal if staying any length of time. Also no TV in the "living area" if that's important to you. We didn't use the pool, we did go to look at it but it seemed to be in the garden of someone's house with 2 barking dogs.

Plumbing needs attention. Need to check to see all appliances are working ie: very hot at night and the aircon unit wasn't working. Surely you can include dstv in the rooms?

The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were amazing and the breakfast was gourmet., all for a reasonable price! I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Nothing much. It was only chosen for an overnight stay.

The room was too small. No room to move. The dressing cupboard did not open properly. Basically everything looked cheap.

No heating or extra blankeds in the room. After asking we did recieve a small heating but still a bit cold, for shore in the bathroom...

The personal was friendley and helpfull. They fully understood our complains and were helpfull solving our problems with the shower.

Price/quality extremely bad. Room very small sheets were smelling Bed was very bad very noisy Shower drain did not worked resulting in an flooding shower. It cost the personal 30 min to remove all dirt from the last 2 years. Although the owners know they get a lot of complains about this section of the B&B they don’t do anything about it but keep on renting it out. If you want to rent a room in this B&B make sure you get a room in the “acceptable” section.

It was neat and well priced.

We were happy with our accommodation. It was clean and had all the home comforts. We travelled with our teenage children and they were able to use Wifi in the cottage.

We only stayed overnight but If we had stayed for longer it would have been nicer if the tv was in the family room not in the bedroom.
