I would really like a stiff pillow
My neck hurts from sleeping on pillows that doesn't support me properly
I liked the wi-fi connection only.
Didn't appreciate waiting to check -in after specifying that we wanted an early check-in. Once we checked we waited for 4 hours for our fridge items after calling reception numerous times. We didn't like the blankets. It would be advisable to get fridges in the standard rooms.
Staff had an amazingly warm demenour and very professional
Nearby all entertainment and easy to get around
Staff were very helpful, great location, great breakfast
Poor, weak and sometimes non existent wi-fi
Cost of making calls.
Clean and quite environment, close proximity to convention centre and shopping malls
Sometimes breakfast was not ready by 7 am; have to wait for waiters to complete arranging the food and drinks
Location of the hotel is the best thing about it. Its close to V&A and its in center of everything. If hotel was in some other area, i wouldnt pay this amount of money for it. Hotel is good to stay. If you are not looking for luxury and all other facilities, it is good to sleep and take a bath. Breakfast does not have really generous options but still it doesnt let you start your day with empty stomach. If your price range is not so wide and you need in good location, go for it! Note; all of the hotel staff were great, friendly and helpful! I especially thank each of them for their great service!
Wi-fi is the problem as usual just like all around the world but you can survive without. Just go and buy cell-c simcard with net package for 100 Rand.
Everything, bed hard, old tv, breakfast poor and far from hotel, no basics like muffins
Almost everything: Hotel in the city center, big room, friendly staff...
... but the breakfast which is served in a nearby restaurant is just bad: We went there at 7.00. Nothing was ready. The cooked breakfast was cold, the coffee tasted like water...
Very friendly staff. Hotel is in the city center. Rooms are big.
The breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant that is quite a hectic place...
Smelly Towels 220V plugs not working in room. Aircon controller not working Shower lever not working Only 5 TV channels --- 3 not working 1 lift door not working. 2nd lift push button hanging outside PATHETIC
friendly knowledgeable staff, always around to assist
hotel wifi - was not working reported it to front desk - no courtesy call received back to see if it was working - it was not
The location in the bowl.
Perfectly good value for money in centre of town
No breakfast facilities on site, although restaurant next door provides good breakfast for guests at entrance to shopping Mall.
location is very nice
facility too old, like 30 years
The staff is the most helpful I've experienced anywhere. It is a safe location. The breakfast, though around the corner in a shopping strip, is very good. I will continue to use for future visitors to CPT.
No wi-fi available in rooms.
Room size. Comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Car parking service.
Nowhere to eat on site.
Some of the staff were polite and nice.
One of the staff was rude. The quality of laundry is poor. Old towels, overused, and with stains on them in the bathroom.
Good value for money
security and breakfast
bathroom cleanliness and replacement of toiletries
Ease of access to the CTICC and other venues from which to do the shopping including the water front. excellent view of the table mountains and affordable prices
Unstable wifi during some nights
The quite atmosphere.
Lack of free parking.
The location was the reason that we booked here as we were taking the train to Joburg the next morning. It was in a mall setting so there were plenty of restaurants, shopping, etc.nearby. The facility was old but updated and nicely appointed. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
We were unable to find the property initially. We wanted to drop off our baggage before returning our rental car but to get to the hotel you had to drive into the mall that looked like it was just for pedestrians so we had to go return the car and get a cab back to the hotel. The cab driver was even unsure of the location but was able to drive us up to the front through the mall. This should be mentioned in directional material. Then there was a loud party going on below us that seemed to have 10 to 20 people there. It wasn't until we finally called the front desk at 3:30 am that anything was done to quite the noise and commotion.
Good location, friendly service
Rooms need renovation. Not suitable for families. Poor wifi service. Parking is charged for. No pool
