Great stay and the location is perfect! Close enough to everything but far enough away as well! Will definitely go again!
That we weren't there for longer!
View from balcony and the fact that it is a small intimate guest house. Kids had own TV with good channel selection.
Inadequate number of towels supplied to family room for family and at one point we had to ask for loo paper as we were in danger of running out.
excellent view of the sea.
slight musty smell in the bathroom.
The view on the ocean
Was nothing that I didn't like
Bathrooms were old and in need of revamp, cutlery and crockery insufficient, DSTV did not work when the wind blew, insufficient hot water for four people in a six sleeper unit.
The staff were great and very friendly - we planning to stay again soon
the bar wasnt open.....
View was stunning. Staff JJ perfect guy for reception, BUT
but I'll rather pay more & facilities/room better. Bedding was stained, I asked for new clean bedding, had to cover it cause no staff, cutlery was dirty and draw full of bread crumps. Patio ashtray was full of cigarette buds. The 2 lights in the room by the mirror did not work - had to use the bathroom mirror. Sorry, no they won't see us again!
Definately going back :)
Beautiful view, spacious.
Few spider webs here and there
very friendly reception
Amazing view, really nice room, garage for the car
Location I phoned the owner of the guesthouse, she organised a fan, and was helpfull. She organised to get the laundry done on saterday morning. The "real" manageress arrived and was more helpfull. They need better control or a system to keep track of keys and remotes.
No hot water for the first day/evening in the Honeymoon suite. No airconditioners or fans, very hot specialy the family room with the "tin" roof.We always stay in 4star rated places, because an airconditioner or fan is included in the rules..for being a 4 star. The manager was not helpfull and unfriendly- not organised, previous guests took the spare key for the familyroom, the manager was not aware of it. We locked the rooms, went out for the day.. The family room was not cleaned and laundry, as arranged, was not washed, because they could not get in, and the manager said, that the spare key was locked in the room, not so. They "forgot" to give us a remote for the garage, everything was locked, I could not get hold of my daughter late at night..when I and my husband returned. We had a wedding at 4pm on the saterday, we returned to the guesthouse at 1.30pm to get dressed.. The room was not cleaned..needed towels, had to call again.. Was not comfortable with the cleaner in the room cleaning, while we were getting ready.
Everything about it...the area has unfriendly people and its far from everything.
A beautiful place for anyone who is looking for comfort and cleanliness. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly. Excellent view and breezy rooms with good light.
I loved almost EVERYTHING about the place.
The access to the actual premises is really difficult. Broke my front bumper and now I have to pay R2k to have it repaired.
The location and comfort
They need to put an a/c unit. It was very hot in the house. No BBQ grill available at premises. Dustbins were not clean when we arrived
Hospitality & kindness, specially from Chrystal at reception. Beautiful, comfortable, would like to go back!
Did not change the towels & refill the coffee/tea/sugar, no decaf coffee available. No extra toilet paper..... Should put some bottles of water in the room..... larger soap, body wash will be appreciated if you stay for 2 nights......
The room was large and comfortable with the most amazing view from the balcony,Bed was large and comfortable, the entire lodge is well laid out
Rooms are showing signs of wear and tear, draw in kitchen b roken, duvet torn, grout in bathrooms missing. We stayed for two nights as a family of three, they do not offer cleaning on a sunday which we could have lived with, but at the price we paid the room should have been serviced. We were given one toilet roll and one small body wash, for a family of 3 needless to say there was not even enough soap for the first night shower. On sunday i requested more toilet paper, coffee soap etc.i even said i would take it to my room myself,i was promissed that these would be replaced during the course of the day,but when we arrived back after reception had already closed they had not done this needless to say we had no soap, toilet paper etc and i had to drive back to Knysna to buy some.....thought this was very poor service!!!
wild and beautiful view, large spies, reasonable equipment
somewhat distanced, the place is a bit gloomy and oldies
