Hardy, the owner, is so accommodating - room was private and breakfast was refreshing. All in all a pleasant stay and I will definitely revist
Not that it was too much of a problem but download speed of wifi was very slow.
They were so accomodating and when I asked them to call a taxi to take me to franschoek, they instead took the time to drive me there. Thank you!
Awesome hospitality. The host was very nice and helpful. The property is big and the view is breathtaking. Would have loved to swim in the pool, but the weather didn't play along :( I would definitely come back soon :)
Tranquil, and enough room space. Warm-hearted reception.
The quilt is too thick. The LED TV is too small. The kettle inside is rust and dirty. Very normal quality of shampoo and gel.
Good location. Good breakfast.
Owners were nice. The atmosphere is very quite. Walking around inside the ranch is a pleasure.
A little bit isolated.
Love our accommodation, love the family of Mr. Hardy, his wife and his parents.Delicious breakfast every morning and be able to use shuttle car was the best. We really enjoyed our stay. Hopefully we will be back soon!

Room was a little basic but decent for the price
Wanted to stay more
The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating
Surrounding majestic mountains, cleanliness, rejuvenating fresh farm air, tranquility and friendliness of hosts
single rasher of bacon with breakfast.
Beautiful expansive gardens, friendly professional service, along with stylish and comfortable decor, made the generous and amazing breakfast the perfect end to our stay. The overall quality was impressive considering the value for money.
I wish we had got there earlier and stayed longer... But we can always go back! :-D
well decorated lodge, nice swimming pool, rural setting, helpful and friendly staff
Amazing hospitality from the hosts who organised tours, lifts to the airport and helpful advice. Relaxing and quiet and breakfast is well worth getting up for
It is a lovely choice for summer in the country. The cottage was comfortable although there was only one sachet of powdered milk for two of us. It was late when we arrived and there was a delicious selection of teas, so I had mine black.
There is no pathway to the cottage door – not good in winter, especially with breakfast being on the other side of the large garden. The shower was too basic and the hot water took ages to arrive. This is a pity because it puts me off going back.
We went to a wedding on a neighbouring farm so it was convenient.
Poor English skills of hostess. Dated bathroom in Leopard Suite. Small shower in room led to collision with taps whilst showering. Hot water takes forever to arrive in bathroom. Workman was on our roof (it seemed) while we were still sleeping in the morning (we chased him away). Gate into farm was temperamental resulting in needing to climb out of the car and wave the remote around in the air to get the gate to open. Poorly stocked honesty bar in room with cold setting on zero so drinks were not chilled. Not a great standard for a 4 Star establishment in this price segment.
It was convenient for us as we had a wedding next door. It was comfortable and good value for money.
It is completely orientated towards the German tourist
Very peaceful, quiet and lovely. Nice location. Our host was very friendly and helpful.
This wasn't a big deal but the WiFi signal didn't reach my room which was on the far end of the property.
The spacousness and park-like looks of the place. The views on the mountains. The pool and the high quality breakfast
No places to eat in the near vicinity. You have to drive to Stellenbosch or Franschhoek. Not a big deal however
The proprietors were great hosts and made certain we had a great experience by providing all the details on what to do in the area. We were in the Giraffe room which was perfect for mother and adult son traveling together. Breakfast was great and made to order! Will go back!
The location is beautiful and the mountains or winelands always provide a beautiful backdrop. The grounds are large and the pool was spotless. The breakfast was delicious and comes highly recommended.
We enjoyed the beautiful setting and our cottage was perfectly well equipped.
Wonderful hosts, great view, very good breakfast, very nice accommodation. We loved it!
I really loved it. A very nice and modern guesthouse with a spacious garden in beautiful surroundings, and the owners are very friendly and service-minded. There is a tiny little disadvantage that you have to be aware of, though, namely that it's situated a few kilometers away from downtown Stellenbosch. Hence it is maybe not the best option for those who mainly want to stroll around in town in the evenings, unless you have a car and don't mind driving.
