The classical design, lay out gardens and position in a secure environment could not be beaten. Staff are helpful and professional making our stay a welcome surprise

Food was dreadfull and not worth the money.

Excellent service. Staff is very friendly and accomodating.(Very) late check-out was no problem. Beautiful grounds. Excellent breakfast buffet and room service. The operation displays a great deal of attention to detail on all levels.

Rooms are a little on the small side.

The staff is often very friendly and always eager to help and solve any problems you might have. The hotel is conveniently located to Montecasino, which is a closed mall/recreation area with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops and a cinema/theater. It is quite safe to walk to and from the hotel, too.

There seems to be a great deal of miscommunication among various departments of the hotel, which is troublesome if you need multiple parties involved (e.g. a problem in your room that requires maintenance and you realize out of business hours). It's a pity really because everything else is quite good. There are often misunderstandings (for lack of a better word) while arranging transport. Be very vigilant as to what you sign and what you are being charged. They don't necessarily try to fool you but apparently these 'problems' are quite common.

The whole experience was memorable, as it was for my father's 90 Birthday from the moment they arrived they were treated with curtsy by the staff, the room was ideal and the champagne and slice of Birthday cake was most welcome. Everyone was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed a most memorable dinner to top off the evening overall I'm delighted we selected the Palazzo Hotel for this occasion.

As expected at that price. No surprises nor disappointments

Cavalier circular that Breakfast would be crowded and asking to come early. That.s THEIR problem and they should lay on more staff. A R195 breakfast should be at the CLIENT'S convenience, not the Hotel's

The breakfast was amazing. Nearless and easy access to MOntecasino shopping boulevard is great wiht a great array of coffee houses. The inroom dining expereince was great....the food was delicioius

The bathroom was not as clean as per my expectation - mentioend this to the staff

Very nice facility, great staff and great entertainment nearby.

I ordered the "100% beef burger" from room service which turned out to be 100% fat and gristle. Easily the worst hamburger I have had anywhere in the world. A pity as the the rest of your hotel is superb.

Service and Hotel Design

The gardens, pool area, beautiful and very good, nice to be in the surroundings of the bird park. Staff is excellent and very helpful. Received a warm welcome. Porters very kind, friendly and helpful. Front office desk excellent.

The state of the room was not up to standard according to 5 star rules.

Beautiful gardens and facilities. The room is luxury at every turn. Nespresso coffee maker in the room.

The bar is too enclosed , you need an outside garden bar area for those of us that don't see the sun as often as you do [ uk :) ]
