Have a coffee on the patio overlooking the pool. Loungers are available for guests looking to soak up the sun after a quick dip. There you can also relax in style in the shade of palm trees after a romantic stroll through Palmiet Estate.

Each of the 13 rooms is individually decorated and includes a selection of exquisite antiques. Enjoy a bath in your free-standing tub or a glass of complimentary port on your very own patio. Fresh fruit and a carafe of vintage port welcome you on arrival.

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.

One child from 4 to 12 years is charged ZAR 495.00 per night and person in an extra bed.

Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Deposit

The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 14 days prior to arrival and is refundable.

Area information

Nestled at the foot of the Drakenstein mountain range, Palmiet is only 5 minutes from Paarl and approximately 60 km from Cape Town. Follow the Wine Route through Franschoek and Stellenbosch, home to some of the best wine estates in the Cape. Stunning peninsula beaches are a mere 30 km away. For golf enthusiasts, the Cape is paradise, with the nearest 27-hole course just 4 minutes by car from Palmiet.

Travel information

By car:
- Arriving at Cape Town International Airport, follow the N2 in the direction of
Somerset West.
- After about 5 km, change onto the R300 in the direction of Bellville.
- Once the R300 ends, take the N1 in the direction of Paarl.
- Continue ahead for about 15 minutes, until you see the
Worcester/Sonstraal Road turn-off.
- Do not take any of the Paarl exits, exit 62A is the last exit before the toll
gate.
- Turn left at the top of the ramp and continue on this road for approximately
800 metres.
- You will pass 2 stop streets and a small bridge crossing Palmiet River.
- Immediately after the bridge you will see a big stonewall engraved with
Palmiet Valley Estate.
- Turn left and into the farm entrance.
- Follow the road to the main buildings, then onto the farm entrance.
- Follow the road to the main buildings.
