Excellent location Close to the Convention Center. Good sized room and good breakfast
The restaurant for evening meals was not that great. The menu is boring and they don't cater for people on low calorie eating plans
Location, room facilities, staff assistance, free pick up and drop off services to waterfront and back to hotel
same choices for breakfast everyday
The staff is awesome. And security it's well maintained.
The air conditioning was not working.
Useful to have a courtesy car to take you to the Waterfront. Roof bar has good views over the city and Table Mountain. Rooms are a good size. Majority of staff very attentive.
Whilst the service elsewhere was good, the service at the roof bar was very poor. We waited for an hour for our food and when it came it was hardly edible. We also ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail for our toddler and when that came it tasted alcoholic. When asked, our waitress seemed to have got our order completely messed up.
Wonderful hotel, great staff, great breakfast, good spacious rooms.
Area around hotel not so safe to walk, beggars swarming around at night.
This is a very nice hotel and very good value for money for us. The location was perfect for getting around... Myciti buses nearby and a walk or short taxi ride to restaurants downtown. The staff were genuinely friendly (like most South Africans) and everything was really pleasant.
Breakfast was expensive - isn't it always in hotels? We only used it on our last morning - went to the nearby supermarket other times. Also the treadmill in the gym needed repairs - again fairly common.
Great location downtown yet quiet.Amazing breakfast buffet and trained staff. We felt very taken care of.Highly recommend .
Nice a convenient location, amazing view. We also could not hear the rooms next to us as privacy is important to us. Staff brought up what we needed in a flash...like a scissors for our luggage and and an iron when needed.
More privacy for the toilet and bathroom.
Concierge very warm. View magnificent Facilities
That I would come back from work and my room is still not cleaned or being cleaned, for the whole week!
Location Service Relaxed environment
Helpfulness of reception especially with regard to printing out tickets. Roof terrace great.
Felt like home from home...great hospitality, clean, comfortable, nice decor and awesome views and location.
Limited range of TV channels
Cuisine, staff, 11th floor facilities and shuttle.
Location, comfort, shuttle service to the centre, fast internet.
Coffee could be better. Very very very long delay to serve dinner and then we waited 20min to have a simple ice cream! Unbelievable! That was the first and last time that we ate at the hotel.
The staff were as genuinely friendly and very helpful - somewhat better than most flashy hotels!
Would be good to have rooibos tea in the rooms
Great rooms, service (especially Alessandro) and a cool roof bar
Wi-Fi is a scam. They provide really slow connection and force you to pay for a regular one. For that sort of hotel one would expect a bit more professionalism. What's next? Pay extra to get light in the room or stay in dark?
The friendly and helpful staff and the convenience of its location.
- Staff in restaurant/bar - Nice location - Complimentary driving services within 5km. And whit pleasant drivers -Large and very clean rooms
Front Office staff could have been a bit more friendly and smiley
big rooms free wifi
ants in room electricity was gone for a day
location, the cleaniness of the hotel and security of it aswell
we booked a double bed only to be booked for a room with two single beds, had to wait for someone to come and put the two beds together after insisting that we cannot sleep in those beds because apparently room service has already left. Besides that and the inconvience of electricity being cut off together with having to pay extra for parking (which we thought was wierd for a hotel visitor - but guess maybe because its town and not much parking place?) it was a pleasant stay
Good staff, good breakfast spread, shuttle service to nearby locations provided by hotel, spacious room
Had an issue with the AC (lack of sufficient cooling) for the first 3 days...called maintenance to inspect...was advised 3 floors were kept on heater mode so could not make room cooler...on 3rd day, I complained to hotel staff as it was impossible to sleep and having an individual thermostat in the room was pointless...had no option but to keep windows open which brought in road noise...AC was finally set to cooler mode for the last 2 nights. Rooftop swimming pool is a joke...more like a fountain...gym was basic...had trouble with treadmill which shut down when brought above speeds of 9.5
The breakfast buffet was nice as well as helpful staff. The dining room service, particularly Marzel, was excellent. She was so friendly and cared about our comfort.
The room decor was a bit dated and there was very little privacy with the glass bathroom/shower mirror. There were also ants in the room.
Centrally located. All attractions are nearby. Free shuttle service is very good. Nice selection of food items for breakfast. 11th floor roof top restaurant is fantastic.
Nothing to dislike.
