Very good hotel, excellent breakfast.

Incredibly helpful reception staff at all times. Comfortable, good-sized room, very comfortable bed. Good breakfast, very friendly service. Perfect room cleaning.

Shower didn't work.

Loved the fact that it was walking distance to the company gardens and Long Street. Loved the Italian restuarant down stairs. Loved the spacious room and spotlessly clean bathroom.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating. We went for a cycle race and were allowed our bikes etc in the rooms which was a huge benefit. The parking was safe

I liked the size of the bedrooms vs. price bracket. The rooms were clean and well made every day. The breakfast with fresh fruit was particularly appreciated. The free WiFi an enormous +point.

The bathrooms were looking a bit "tired" and could have done with being a little larger with an appropriate shower applique, but it was OK. It would have been good to have had a hair dryer in the bathroom too.

Their manager and front desk are excellent and very helpful. It was our first time and first night in Cape town and was very impressed with this hotel. Nice breakfast and with Italian restaurant inside, it was safe to have a dinner here. Steak and homemade pasta are good. I would recommend the hotel to everyone.

Location for the center of the town is good.

A bit noisy from outside (but that is what you can expect in the center of the town).

The location was great fr visiting a lot of the city sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Although it stated there was airport transfer available no where did it state there was a charge. It could be noisy at night as it was in the city.

Very friendly and helpful staff. You may expect any kind of support from them. Fantastic location. The hotel is rather small (a bit more than 20 rooms) so it is not crowdy, the staff knows all guests and are ready to help any time. The standard is good enough for the price we paid. Good breakfast. Parking is easy accesable from the 7th floor of the hotel.

In general no drawbacks. If you left your car on the parking remeber to take a notice from reception in order to leave it. You must also "climb" by car app. 600 m way up before you will reach Parliament Hotel's parking places (it is really not a problem). Be aware of noisy door in the lift (built in 60's of xx century). Despite this small remarks it is very worth to stay there.

The flight of stairs from reception to the lift were a bit of a problem, particularly for more mature guests.

Bookings.com misrepresented the rooms. No fridge as described by Booking.com. Doubt that I'll use this service again, I have never had this sort of issue with Hotels.com.
