Situated right next to Robber Beach and overlooking the Robberg Peninsula is this inviting 4-star guesthouse offering the very comfortable accommodations in a perfect location. Periwinkle Lodge Guest House provides individually and beautifully decorated rooms that reflect the bright surrounding area. Six of the 7 rooms have private balconies that open to views of Robberg Peninsula to the right and the Tsitsikamma Mountains to the left. All rooms have bathrooms, heated towel racks, tea coffee facilities and bar fridges. After a busy day outside, return to the lodge for a meal on the wide balcony as you watch whales and dolphins swimming in the distance. Snuggle up by the fireplace with warm drinks at night or watch the sun set from the balcony. There is much to keep you occupied here. Visit Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary, near by golf course, or take a horse ride along green forests, or go canoeing, abseiling and hiking. The more daring visitor can enjoy Bungi Jumping over the Bloukrantz Bridge. Periwinkle Lodge is also perfectly situated for slow walks or lazy days spent on the beach. The extra mile that was evident. Binoculars in the lounge, a beach bag and towels,fresh milk in fridge. Plus tea and cake on arrival and a welcome drink before dinner. All in all a wonderful place and we were made very welcome. I would stay again and recommend it without question. Next time we will stay longer Nothing

We spent three nights as part of our honeymoon and we were blown away by the professionalism and outstanding service. Everyone was amazing and whatever we needed was not a proble to sort out. All the staff were friendly and we enjoyed chatting to each and every one of them. We cannot say enough about the amazing experience we had it certainly was a highlit of our trip

The view is stunning. The service is amazing. The complimentary wine. The sauna and gym. The interior of the room. Our standard room didn't had aircon facilities.

The views over the bay were stunning, and the welcome we received was as warm as the sunshine. Breakfast on the terrace was a particular highlight. The need to depend on taxis to get to and from local restaurants was a minor nuisance. Would have preferred for the guesthouse to have negotiated a set rate from a reliable firm and to have had this added to our guesthouse bill. This service was available in other guest houses we have stayed at in South Africa, and seems to work well.

This place exudes style. We cannot speak too highly of the service and comfort provided. The attention to detail in the decor is amazing. Wonderful breakfast overlooking the ocean.

Received a very warm welcome which was reflected during the 3 nights there by friendly, helpful and efficient staff. A superb breakfast in a comfortable sea-view lounge or balcony, depending on the weather. The lounge is most comfortable and well equipped. The interesting modern buillding is well designed with effective privacy as far as the rooms are concerned. Altogether a most enjoyable stay in a well-positioned and well managed lodge. Definitely to be recommended. No complaints - but it would be helpful to have more than the one electric socket for charging phones, cameras, laptops etc., especially when there are two persons. Also the one table was full of tea things, glasses, cups, kettle and TV decoder, leaving no working space for writing or using a laptop.

Well designed public areas. Beautiful & well equipped bed & bathrooms. Great views over the ocean. Delicious breakfasts. The owners / staff don't live on property but are around generally from 7am - 8pm. If you're going to be arriving after 6 pm it's a good idea to let them know. If you do arrive after hours and there aren't any staff on property then there are contact details posted in a couple of locations on property and someone on duty will be with you quickly to let you in and take care of you.
