Occupying a prime position in the little coastal village of Salt Rock, the Petite Provence offers accommodations with breakfast included just 10 minutes from Durban Airport. Your hosts at this friendly little bed and breakfast pride themselves on their warm hospitality and attention to detail. Very nice b&b with extremely beautiful garden. Interiors very nicely decorated in french style. Close to beach. Flexible staff who gave us our room earlier than official check in time

The public areas are probably nicer than the rooms, based on our experience. The gardens are also beautiful. The weather was very pleasant during our stay. One person's shabby chiq is someone else's shabby. The place does have a Provencal feel, but while we can see the thought and care that has gone into the design and layout, we would rather regard the ambiance as 'shabby'. We would say that our room, and particularly the bathroom needs refurbishing. The parking area needs serious improvement!

Friendly, quiet with attractive garden. Lots of exotic bird life. You cannot see the ocean but it is only 5 minutes walk to nice beach with shark net and life guards and good surf. Very good restaurant close by.

It was a pleasant surprise ... more than I expected for what we paid. We had the pleasure of meeting the host, Jacques. Him and his wife have paid special attention to all things french country. Definitely not a four star hotel as advertised and priced.Not a hotel as advertised, but a guesthouse. No proper staff services or parking that four star guesthouses should have.It should be advertised as a three star guesthouse and priced accordingly.

It has a realistic French feel. The staff are very friendly and polite. The guest house is quite beautiful The room could of been cleaner. A few stains were noticed on the bed sheets. The honeymoon suite didnt quite have a romantic feel, purely because of where it was located in the guest house

Einst wahrscheinlich ein schönes bb. Nun leider nicht mehr gut im Stand. Müsste total renoviert werden. Aussen wie Innen. Sanitäre Anlagen im schlechten Zustand. Zimmer klein. Pool schön gelegen aber mit Wasser das nicht zum baden einlädt. Nette Führung und Zimmermädchen. Breakfast sehr bescheiden. Einverstanden der Preis eher im günstigen Bereich. Trotzdem müsste investiert werden.

Französische Einrichtung wie in der Provence, sehr liebvoll ausgesucht und dekoriert, allerdings auf alt getrimmt. Schöner blühender tropischer Garten mit Frühstücksterrasse. Freundlicher Gastgeber, gutes Infomaterial über die Gegend/Ausflugsmöglichkeiten vorhanden, gute Lage zum Strand. Pool sehr klein, nur 4 Liegen vorhanden; zu unserem Zimmer gehörte innerhalb des Bades eine dunkelbraune Duschniesche, was etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war!

Der Besitzer war überaus höflich, hilfsbereit Das Haus romantisch französisch und warmherzig persönlich. Nach wenigen Stunden fühlte man sich heimisch in der Fremde.Auch im Aufenthaltsraum. Die Frühstücksterrasse liebevoll und ausreichend, Personal auch. Einziges Manko, ein zu kleines Duschbad im Terrassenzimmer gartenseitig links. Und fehlende Steckdosen für Fön oder Rasierapperat etc in allen Bädern, sowie schummrige Beleuchtung über Badezimmerspiegeln, magere Toilettenspülung. Aber das war in allen 9 bereisten Guesthäusern verschiedener Sternekategorie 3 - 5 quer durch Südafrika immer der technische Stand.

Het huis is prachtig als ook de aangelegde tuin met zwembad. De bruidsuite heeft een eigen entree en is sfeervol ingericht. Luxe valt op zich mee, het ontbijt is uitgebreid. Zoals op veel plekken word je auto weer eens netjes gewassen voor je vertrekt. Het ligt overigens op slechts 20 min. rijden van de luchthaven van Durban. Als het slecht weer is heb je weinig te doen in de nabije omgeving. Het strand is de voornaamste attractie. Wel is er een groot winkelcentrum vlakbij.

El hotel es agradable, limpio y bien ubicado. Las habitaciones son amplias y luminosas. Bonitas plays cerca y el sector de la piscina bien. El desayuno normal y abundante. y LE Las habitaciones son amplias y confortables. La playa esta muy cerca y el recorrido a los balnearios cercanos es facil en auto. El servicio es normal, asi como el desayuno esta adecuado.
