The friendliness and helpfulness of Aviwe, at the check in desk. The location is great and the bed is comfortable. I got a free upgrade.
The inability to connect to wifi, while the hotel is advertised as offering free wifi. The inability to watch television for the duration of my stay. The poor quality of the juice at breakfast.

Good position and infrastructure.
Very poorly trained staff. Poor Wifi arrangement. Rooms did not even have standard teabags. Ice not available when required. No turn-down of beds in the evening. Dirty cups and glasses left until the next day when beds only made up at 12h30. Generally a poor ezperience created by seemingly unmotivated and incompetent staff and management spoiling good location and infrastructure. Next time I will use a B & B.

Service can be a little slow when the hotel is busy like is for Ironman event.

The location, a walk from the Eastern Beach and Aquarium...
A lot of rubble outside due to current renovation and new entrance building activities. Hopefully will be completed by the next time I visit...

after receiving the confirmation e-mail from Booking, at the reception the front desk did not confirm it, I had to show my notepad for evidence. Later on (the front desk went inside) the manager came in and after some conversation said that he had in fact received a confirmation mail from Booking ... Also we felt the rooms were not properly cleaned ... confirmed by all of us (x3)

it was my first time at hotel, new s years eve dinner in salmon restaurant was a disaster. the place was dirty, floors full of rice, dirty table cloths , we had to ask for a table to be cleaned, we waited hour and a half for our meal , we were told that waiter forgot to place the order, the food came back poorly cooked( raw pork) we eventually left without the meal, in the rooms , the cleaners took the towels and never replaced it, same with coffee and tea, resulting in us having to phone every single day of our stay. the entrance was closed without a sign that we must drive around, and we waited at the gate, hooting eventually, a security guard scrambled out of a undercover building, and not very professional, the guards at the gate had a paper list with guest names on it and took forever to find our names, I eventually drove through with my access card telling to guard I am not prepared to wait for ten minutes for him to find my names. The building is lovely, but the staff needs more training, it is also a very noisy hotel with drunked guests and it lacks the decorum of a 4 star hotel compared to Johannesburg

surrounding area looks dangerous seafront extremely dirty, broken bottels, paper and plastic's everywhere. roads to the hotel in chocking condition.
Rooms are specious and neat and service
The bathroom is spacious. Opening sliding door to balcony. Evening buffet good food.
2 x 3/4 beds for 3 people to sleep on. Booked for 2 nights, when arrived, only had 1 night booked. Received bad reception from Xoliso saying he can't change our booking. Sliding door to balcony did not lock - asked for it to be repaired, was still not done by time we left. Drain pipe - bathroom basin leaked, bathroom floor wet, not repaired by time we left. Only had 2 of everything in room although we were 3. Requested extra towel, never received it. Limited TV channels, which is not really acceptable for the price you pay per night. Had A-la Carte meal - alfredo pasta not suggested - very fatty and oily and made me and my child sick.

Our 1st room 812 was beautiful and spacious but had an intolerable smell. We called reception and they were quick to change our room. The second room 917 wasn't as beautiful and private but was still spacious. Totally happy with the view and location of the hotel
On our second night we waited for more than an hour for our food to be sent to our room by room service. No one bothered to call and explain the reason for the delay. On our 3rd night when we got to our room there weren't any clean towels and milk. We called housekeeping and asked to have these sent to our room but it was never sent up.
The staff are well trained and very friendly. The hotel is very new and clean.
The double bed is the smallest I have ever slept in, in a hotel. It takes forever to walk from the reception to your room or parking. You have to change lifts and walk from one to the other. When we got to our room the TV and telephone did not work, but I was able to phone from the room next door. Maintenance came fairly quickly to fix it, but later when I realised the noisy aircon can't go on a slower setting I realised the phone was still not working. Had to wake family in the next room to phone reception and they could not fix the aircon. Slept about 3hours that night and had to keep drinking water as the room was so stuffy without the aircon on.
Excellent room with a view of spectacular beauty. The on line booking service to note of my request for comfortable feather pillows and white linen. An a much needed excellent night's sleep.
Do not cater for vegetarians. Food high in carbs and msgs.

The hotel is situated close to the township. It degrade the standard of the hotel.

Service was horrific. Night duty management and telephone service was pathetic. Manager refused to field my comei to about poor service. Won't recommend the venue for future use.
The manager on duty on Sat night & Sun morning is one in a million, he instills professionalism in his staff

Hard pillows Lack of maintenance - broken towel ring, loose basin tap and broken shaver plug which i had to use to charge my iPhone as there is no two pin plug facility in the room. Bathroom lighting is poor.
