The location is great, the staff in the reception are very warm and helpful, staff in the restaurant are friendly.
The room service was very bad. We had to wait for 3 hours for our order. After several clarifications the food arrived but there was no apology. The quality if room service food was also very low
The door to the deck is not properly seald and leaking sounds of the cars and the wind.
the room and view
the facilities was excellent....room service top notch...as well as the in-house lady that game my dearest friend a massage and pedicure
shower floor in the particular room that i stayed did not get rid of the water fast enough...it created a little pool
This is a fairly modern, central, safe and affordable hotel. If you are doing business in Cape Town or the winelands, the hotel is located a few minutes from the N1 highway, and you can walk to the excellent Canal Walk shopping centre. Virgin Active gym is across the road.
Many of the rooms face onto the parking lot, so try for a mountain facing room. The showers are a little weak and the kitchen/self-catering facilities very limited. The onsite CinCin restaurant is a little clinical but actually serves pretty good meals. The breakfast for a colleague was extremely overpriced. Sadly, not very many of the serving staff know how to make a cappuccino.
We liked the staff's attitude - they were selfless in assisting us - from the staff in the breakfast area to the reception staff, everyone we met was friendly and always eager to assist. We were really amazed at the kindness and service we received. I even went onto Hello Peter to put in a 'great service' message. What a refreshing experience. Thank you all. Cape Town rocks!
I cant say anything bad...we had a wonderful expierence which is what we needed after a hectic year.
Everything about the hotel
Loved the location & the room design.
My partner & I both don't smoke but we were accommodated in a smoking room. I complain to reception but they only gave us an air freshener. Very disappointed. Nothing else was done, woke up with blocked nostrils as I had a bit of flu.
Liked the atmosphere and friendliness of staff. Staff are well trained from cleaners to chef to top management. They all made our stay an extremely warm and welcoming one. Also loved the fact that it was quiet and peaceful. I have to say I absolutely loved the sheer size of the shower! That in itself was luxury for me.
The bar fridge was a real disappointment. It doesn't work. It just wasn't getting cold enough! The lounge lighting above the tv hits you in the eye.
rooms r big enough and the bed was very comfortable. i loved the decor as well and the total friendliness of every staff
i would have been happier if there was a bath in my room as well and if the wifi was always working properly. the hotel is very far from the beaches and long street as well
The staff really make you feel special and with the modern facilities this was an amazing experience from start to finish.
Great service at the front desk – extremely helpful, but also the whole staff across board very helpful!
The Wifi was occasionally erratic / not functioning properly
fridge in room not making cold but working
The entire experience. Amazing staff!
To have to leave
The most comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and professional
Wi-fi not the best
The airconditioning in the room was not working and the hotel was not able to give us another room or compensate us to make our stay more comfortable.
All most everything
Smell of cigarettes when we first move in
Service was great, excellent location just by the mall for shopping & a view of Table Mountain from our room plus a very good breakfast.
Hotel is well situated. The dining room staff where extremely pleasant and very helpful. Reception staff were very pleasant.
Problem with the shower. Bath tap broken. No dish towel, but kitchen facility. complimentary tea and coffee not replaced until we asked 4 days later. Cars drive at ridiculous speed in parking garage. In our opinion very dangerous and should be addressed.
Breakfast and location
Dark corridors, kitchen poorly equipped, bad coffee, weak wifi.
Room is more like one is at home in terms of functionality. Very modern.
Extremely warm hospitality which I have not seen during my travels be it even overseas.
The toilet & bathroom switch was not individually connected but to the bathtub area which was with the bedroom. This was very disturbing when the light had to be switched on during the night or early hours of the morning to visit the toilet. The light disturbed the sleep of the sleeping occupant. The bathroom did not contain a shelf to keep a toiletry bag. The bathroom being a high risk area to slip & there was not a hand rail to clutch in an accidental slip considering a glass wall enclosed the bathroom on 3 sides. Anonymous
Staff members were professional in all ways.
