The location, the size of the room, the wifi connectivity and an exemplary General Manager.
Staff members need to be trained on customer service, they need to ensure that the facility is clean at all times especially the pool and bar area. Their breakfast menu needs creativity it was not changed for the 10 days I was there
The hotel was conveniently located with friendly staff. The room was spacious and comfy. Everything was extremely clean and neat.
The food ordered for room service was disappointing. The pasta did not have all the ingredients as explained on the menu. The chicken salad was dry and very salty. The drinks from the bar was over priced.
The breakfast. A good well priced wine list from regional wines. The desk staff is very friendly.
Dinner is a sober affair and a medium to rare steak, must not look like a piece of leather... Please look after the health of some of your personal "Charli" is so overweight, he perspires all the time, which does not look very appetising.
Good location, spacious room
We were too close to reception/bar area to we were aware of people passing
At breakfast there was a large group from outside to have breakfast, still the staff went out of their way to make sure we have everything we needed and more. They did not skimp on attention to us although they were extremely busy with the large group.
I liked rhe reception area and the diningroom
we booked a room with balcony - non - smoking and was allocated a room with a balcony that smelled of smoke - I do think that it is a non - smoking room but a previous occupant has disobeyed the rules and smoked in the room
It is always a rewarding experience
Free shuttle, food at restaurant was very nice!
A bit pricey!
Accessing the Wi-Fi for the first time was very difficult and I had to call for assistance. The guys got me connected after some several minutes -+15. I think it should be much more user-friendly and easy to access.
A friendly, comfortable and enjoyable visit. I will return
Warmth from staff attention to details
Having to keep requesting for WiFi access card, think the WiFi should be accessed with the customers details such as email add. Many other top Hotels do that and its quite fuctional a lot easier for customers.
Decisive and very warmly staff. I loved the view from my room which would have been heavenly if the vineyard was in season.
Spacious rooms and well kept.
Excellent staff with Courtesy. The serene and pizza preparation
There was no fitness centre
the lady who took our order for dinner on Thursday evening we only saw her once. Could not help to overhear the couple next to us who also waited a long time to be served. other than that everything else was fine.
Too many people - crowded at breakfast and service too slow. Prefer to have an option to exclude breakfast from my stay so that I can have breakfast where I choose.
Roomy rooms. The bath. Comfortable bed. Love the patio. Wish I could have breakfast there. Capable staff.
Very noisy at night. Breakfast is stale at eight. No breakfast in room service menu Room service menu food is horrible
This was the 3rd time my request for a smoking room has been ignored
Modern, comfortable, great
The hotel was near a hospital my family had to visit.
My elderly parents and I checked in individually by the internet. On arrival we were all booked into an apartment instead of seperate rooms. This was amended after me being moved to 4 different rooms. To get to the rooms involved a very long walk around the outside of the hotel - up a steep slope OR walking up a flight of staires. No lift - either for customers or services. No mention of this on either printed literature or on the web site. My Mother found it almost impossible to climb the staires, due to a medical problem, but there was no other option. The rooms were clean and fresh, but seriously uncomfortable to spend any time in. NO armchair, just a plastic cube at the end of the beds ????!! The only chair in the room was an 'office' type chair that tipped back when you sat on it. If a couple wanted to sit and have tea one had to sit on a cube or the bed and one on the reclining office chair. Comfort = 0. The bathrooms looked lovely, but who ever designed the triangular shower skimped so much on space they are just silly. There was plenty of room for batter design and use of space. Two out of three evenings I stayed there I was delivered room service that I hadn't ordered. "Well who is this for then ?" "I don't know." Although the bar men were keen, it was frustrating to get a drink because they never had change, and had to scratch around in their own pockets to give you change or would say they would bring change later .... Why is their float given to them in R50, R100 and R200 notes?????? When you finally get a beer - you wont believe but the GLASSES SMELT OF EITHER GARLIC OR RAW ONIONS. Perfectly clean and shiny but must be stored or dried in the vacinity of either garlic or onions ! Breakfast staff well trained and busy doing their work clearing tables and tidying up. No attention to customers. When you eventually get ones attention to ask for coffee or tea it arrives cold... No thanks. Never again.
Cupboard next to fridge door hinge loose, door almost fell off when opened.
Location and very comfortable beds
The building is very dark inside due to poor lighting
Smoking in passages
Room was very comfortable, spacious and neat . Staff was professional but friendly. The breakfast buffet caters for every taste imaginable. Surely one of the best experiences we had sleeping over.
