The rooms were very comfortable and the service were great. I liked the decor in the rooms. The breakfast was below average and therefore not worth the price they charge. They lacked stock such as butter and honey - excuse stock did not arrive. The armrest on chair in the dining room was broken and kept hooking out its position whilst having breakfast. Unacceptable! After I complained they did not charge me for the breakfast - 10 out of 10. Attention to detail required - easy to correct!

Room is spacious I had no soap or shampoo in my room. I had a business guest for breakfast the next morning. We could not eat as the food was all open and infested by flies. When we asked the Chef and staff if they could not at least close the food they simply ignored us until I asked again. There was no butter. When asked the chef said that they only had blocks of butter and they would need to cut some for us. I am still waiting for the butter. I fly to different parts of the country on a weekly basis. My secretary normally does our bookings under our company name. I will be instructing her to never book a Protea hotel again

Good location by Big hole historical village. Nice "colonian" interior. It was not so easy to find the hotel after dark. When I came on a New Year eve I was promised at least some food, but when I was back by reception desk again there was nobody there, as well as no food or drinks. So finally it was just tea in my room.

The hotel is well situated to the Big Hole. We unfortunately only stayed one night but it was enough to impress us. The hotel is clean and super value for money. Its location to Big Hole is unbeatable.

Located next to the Big hole. Kimberley and the Big hole are not really worth of spending a day. I stayed there overnight, and since the city is not good for leisure strolls, I was stuck to the hotel for meals which are not cheap there. The hotel is good, but the city itself is just a waste of travel time.

The location is fabulous and the rooms are very comfy. The staff at the reception could never answer our questions about what to do in Kimberley and similar.

Le confort la fréquentation de la salle à manger par des clients qui arborent uniquement des tenues de sport lors du diner, sans avoir pris de douche à la sortie de la salle de sport
