“The staff on duty were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast prepared was great and presented very well. The self catering apartment was brilliant and felt like home away from home.”

The room was spacious and fitted with all the appliances we needed to be self sufficient but with the flexibility of a hotel. The location was fantastic with a quick and safe walk to the V&A Waterfront where we could shop, relax and enjoy the many African performers. The staff were very approachable and assisted us with every request. We would highly recommend this hotel to couples or families wanting an apartment style holiday.

Our stay was most enjoyable and the apartment facilities excellent with flat screen tv's in all rooms, an en-suite in main bedroom and another bathroom with bath and shower. The location was excellent, just a pleasant 10min walk to the Waterfront.Breakfast was excellent and catered for all tastes. There is a free underground carpark which was very useful for our hire car as there is no parking outside the hotel. Nothing I can really think of except perhaps the room service on one occasion for toasted sandwiches which was about an hour's wait but they were worth waiting for and very well presented.

Rooms were excellent. Spacious, well-appointed and perfect for a young family stay. Staff were, on the whole, very helpful and efficient. The room keys/cards needed re-programming 2/3 times per day which was a source of frustration and not a great advertisement of the hotel when friends popped across to visit from the Cullinan, only to witness us having to traipse back to reception yet again to get the room card re- programmed in order to take the lift. Just when we had been extolling the virtues of our lovely hotel! Breakfast was adequate, but certainly nothing to write home about.

I feel we should have been informed of the Jazz Festibal prior to booking. As we had an early departure on the Saturday morning and required some sleep prior to a long day of airports and long flights, the banging on Friday night was unacceptable. I don't think you can call that jazz at 01:00 am in the morning hearing thoomp thoomp thoomp.

Good location for visiting V&A Waterfront (15 min walk in day, taxi at night) and city. Also close to stop for both the Hop on/Hop off bus tours which are super way to see/visit city, beaches, cable car station, Kirstenbosch gardens and connect with free wine tour. Breakfast was good - lots of fruit and good range of freshly cooked dishes plus usual buffet. Staff were lovely and apartment was spacious. We stayed 9 nights and it was great to have separate living room and large kitchen with washer/dryer. Plus TVs in bedroom and living room. Col' Cacchio restaurant opposite does great pizzas. Tried an evening meal (after tiring day) - food OK but not enough choice and restaurant was empty.

This hotel was a wee gem in a big city, facilities were fabulous for the price we paid, kitchen and living room as well as bedroom made room very spacious Hotel staff were so accommodating and helpful with all requests and queries Our rooms were very clean and immaculate Rooftop pool was an added bonus and the gym facilities were good although not used much given all the cape town sites we had to fit in. Would highly recommend this hotel even though it was a 10 -15 min walk down to the waterfront The hotel is not situated in the heart of the waterfront complex but if you don't mind a walk it is a good choice and only a 5 min taxi ride back at the end of the night

We enjoyed the hotel and the Breakfast was an appreciated value, along with the free parking. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We had requested a balcony room, we requested a change and Mr. Lucky made the change the same day as requested. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive during breakfast. The maids assisted in the operation of the washer/dryer and the cooking utilities. In summary I highly recommend the Pro tea North Wharf Hotel, and have already done so with family and friends. The first day, there was a stench arising from the pool with the birds. However, we noted that the hotel cleaned the pool and that solved that issue. However, the internet could become a deal breaker. The limited use associated with the need to continually use the 100 m/b password was very annoying. I can not image that the Pro tea Hotel management have not recognize this as a major problem and move to correct the situation. If I had known about the Internet service shortcomings, I would have had an influence on our decision to stay at this hotel. Upgrade your internet system capabilities!

Great location with easy access to the Waterfront and Nightlife but tucked away enough for a quiet stay. The staff were superb and even presented are room to us at 9.30am ! The breakfasts were amazing you could not of asked for more choice. The rooms of are a very high standard and the kitchen was fully fitted including a washer/dryer which was very handy. The living room and bedroom both had large screen TV's and a good air-con system. On the roof-top is a reasonably size clean pool with umbrellas and loungers. It was never too busy and a good sun-trap with views of the Waterfront and Table Mountain. Best of all though was the service from the staff, 10 out of 10.

Everything was beyond our expectations, but the staff is at the top. They are more than friendly, literally walked us to several locations we wanted to see, and helped us with unlocking our Mastercard by coming up to our room and trying everything on the phone with us. We always had courteous friendly people at the desk and good security. Our room was perfect. It was a one bedroom apartment setup so we could eat in if we wished. Kitchen is fully equipped, including clothes washer/dryer. Breakfast was included in our rate and was a large spread with everything you could want. None. If I could I would move this to the waterfront, but then I would miss some of the wonderful restaurants we visited near the hotel.

The breakfast and the comfort in the rooms and the pool On arrival the receptionist wanted to charge for my son's stay and breakfast while on the booking it said that the room booked could stay 4 adults and 1 child at no extra charge, had to hagle with them to get this cleard which is not pleasant.

This turned out to be the ideal place to stay. Only 15 minute walk to the waterfront and there were plenty of restaurants there and we would get a taxi back. Room was beautiful and spacious and cleaned well every day. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all helpful and pleasant at all times. Free parking underground was a bonus. Getting around by car was extremely easy. Quiet area with only 1 restaurant next door, but it was excellent. Would stay there again.

Stayed 3 nights just before Christmas, (2 adults, 3 older teenagers and 1 younger) used as a base to explore Cape Town. Located walking distance to the V & A Waterfront which was ideal - got to enjoy the sights and excursions around Cape Town and relax at the Waterfront.

Good location to citcc, Long Street and v&A. Good facilities - nice swimming pool on the roof with city view. The room was well equipped with everything you need. The 100mb wireless login details was annoying as it ran out quickly, or you would have to login every time you took a break from the computer
