The Riviera Hotel, is situated at Sea Point and the location is good, it has restaurants, shops, many things to do and to visit.
Comfortable accommodation, spacious, beautiful view, proximity of nice restaurants, walking promenade & the communal swimming pool nearby.
The cleanliness was below average. Terrace dirty, floor, table & chairs. Basin in bathroom blocked, I unscrewed the plug and it was absolutely filthy with OLD dirt, very black. The lounge was only just clean. One morning after the room was cleaned the rubbish was left outside the door, I could recognise the spring onions that were left the evening before . I reserved 2 parking bays but someone was in one of them the first, it was very inconvenient.
This hotel needs more parking bays available to guests.
Clean tidy comfortable ideal spot staff fantastic bed big and comfortable facilities excellent
parking need to be booked ahead (a few places for small cars), to find a place near the hotel on the street is rather difficult. сэйф не работал, лампа в гостиной комнате не работала, ванна хреновая (лучше бы эта была душевая кабина)
Location and friendly staff
Kitchen utensils were of poor quality and Oven thermostat was broken
Well located considered being at sea point.
Lack of parking spot for all customers.
The location is second is so appropriate. Staff best Room is neat and clean Room facilities are operational and immaculate. I just love this place
I was not happy as I could not stay during the dates checked on booking.com however managed to stay for the last two nights of my holiday.
Location, spacious, clean. Loved it
Ground floor is noisy
misalignment between booking.com receipt and understand at hotel. Then I ended up paying twice and normal hotel rates were changed which led to over billing. I am still waiting for my money to be returned!!!
I liked the cleanliness, friendly staff and the location of the accommodation.
I didn't like the room(A9) that we stayed in because it had a door that can go through to the next room. We could hear the guest next door talking and the TV, which I think they could also hear us on the other side.
Good bed to sleep and good coffee available
Early morning traffic
Nice extra touches such as drinks, coffee etc.
Being chased by a salesman for the company.
Reception staff and porters were friendly. Great location. Close to buses and shops. Very good sized rooms.
We liked the secure parking. We liked being within walking distance of shops and the beach.
There isn't anything we didn't like. The pillows were a bit hard but otherwise it was fine for the time we needed it.
We were moved to another hotel due to a pipe burst at the Riviera.
The reception up to until we leave the place. The complimentary tea.
Television channel. Some DSTV channels were not available, had to ask the manager to programme them, but they vanished later. (Supersport 04)
It was a very pleasant stay in Cape Town. The staff was very good and friendly. We had been upgraded to a family suite on our arrival without our knowledge. The upgrading was complimentary. The location of the apartment was very good and was in a quiet beach front. It was within walking distance to seven-eleven outlet where we could buy most what we needed and also was in close proximity to good food outlets. The interior was very clean and spacious. We had all what was expected within the premises. It was a great stay..
The staff are very friendly and the place is in a great position along with being very reasonable in price.
Position. Very helpful staff.
No laundrette: Simple to fix. Cheers Ian
It was so cold. Its sofa bed was not comfortable. We were 4 people and we expected to have two comfortable double bed or one double+two single bed.
