We booked a loft room as we were staying for a week and were really pleased we did, it was worth the extra money. Design was great, very spacious and clean. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Bar was nice although never very busy. Breakfast was good and had lots of choice. Hotel only 15-20 minute walk from V&A waterfront where there's plenty of restaurants, bars and excursions.

From the initial welcome by your reception staff, the room service, delicious meals and very friendly staff, to the driver who took us to Camp's Bay; our short stay with you was the great start to a lovely 2 week holiday in your wonderful country. The hotel exceeded my expectations, having chosen it from a website appearing to be an average city hotel, by treating the 2 of us as special throughout our stay. A special congratulations should be given to all your staff without exception.

Nicely situated. Good value for money if there had been no problems like we had Booked for non-smoking room with double bed. Arrived and was put in smoking room. Had to wait while they moved us. Was then put in a room with 2 single beds. Had to wait again [missing my suprise sundowners that my husband had planned as it was my 40th birthday]. After waiting for 25 minutes we went to find out what was going on and nobody was attending to the problem. Waited again. Put in room with very squeaky headboard and noisy aircon but we accepted it. When we got into bed the linen had not been changed!! Mascara and tomato sauce on sheets and pillows! Disgusting. Had to wait while they changed linen. The experience ruined my 40th birthday date with my husband. Only positive is that the manager agreed that we should not have to pay to be made miserable and so they didn't charge us for the night and they gave us champagne and a cheese platter. Grateful for that but I am horrified that the staff try to get away without changing bedding between clients.

Welcoming, spacious, good service, cordial, offer breakfast at a reduced rate and we would have eaten at the hotel. R440 for a family of 4 is steep.

From the moment you walk through the door the staff are courteous and friendly - constantly greeting and smiling. The barman was excellent - even when the crowds descended he was still smiling. The hotel is clean from the ground up which makes it very inviting. It is within walking distance of the v & a and yet is still reasonably priced - which was one of our reasons for booking there - if we go to Cape Town again would definitely consider staying there again.

Beware! The nighclub nextdoor makes a dreadful noise all night long - This may well be at the front of the hotel only. For this reason we would NOT stay there again! Thanks

Stylish, modern hotel in great location: handy for city centre, v & a Waterfront, & other attractions. Local buses pass the door & good choice of bars, shops & restaurants within yards. The long/lap pool, with late afternoon shade, was very welcome amenity. My room, on fourth floor, was V.smart & enjoyed a peep of Table Bay & good view to the Green Point Stadium. It was generously sized & well appointed, but with a couple of flaws ... The rate I paid was an absolute bargain & all my Cape Town friends were amazed. Just two problems with my room (410): The shower flooded, no matter how hard I tried to avoid this. The cill around the shower basin/floor has a "fall" in the wrong direction & water collects on the screen & then drains the "wrong" way onto the floor of the shower room. Potentially quite dangerous. I ended up buying cloths from Woolies & mopping up after I used the shower. The maid said this was a problem in a couple of rooms. Also the safe was quite tricky: some numbers/keys worn & impossible to read, others over sensitive so difficult to tap in security code etc. Breakfast V. expensive, so hotel missed out on this revenue as I breakfasted elsewhere. But no big deal .... the pluses outweigh these minor minuses.

Some of the staff was amazing, others had no idea, if you want to stay in a london apartment u will love the lofts. Hotel is totally bland with no atmosphere, space could be utilised so much better, very expensive for what it has to ffer.

We stayed in an apartment - good and spacious. Clean room, good breakfast and friendly staff. The secured parking (at a nominal cost) was a real plus. The "pool" is really just a lap pool and with no shallow end, which could have been made clearer in the hotel blurb. Also, there were never any towels poolside

Walking distance to waterfront, Long Street and Green market Square. I was disappointed since I rented 1 of the lofts. Specifically, i) Every day we had to ask for face cloths although we were told it was a mandatory part of housekeeping. On 1 occasion, we had to ask twice on the same day; ii) We were there 5 days and Power was out on 2 occasions. The last 2 days we did not have TV or radio; and iii) we saw ants near the food at the breakfast bar almost every day we were there. I won't be booking this hotel the next time I am in Cape Town.
