The hotel was well furbished, staff were excellent The hotel was too modern and the furniture a little ostentatious. It was not appealing to sit on. The pool - you had to walk through the dining room to get to it. The bar area had no atmosphere - very clinical.

When I make a booking I was congratulated for choosing the cheapest room, but when we arrived at the room we were suprised because the room was not looking cheap, it had everything that we needed. We called your staff needing other things and they were there within minutes, we got everything we wanted, the view was perfect. We arrived late and left early so we did not really enjoy ourselves, oh the place is so clean and beautiful, we hope one day we will stay for few days and enjoy the hotel. Keep up the good work guys. I was made to wait for more than one and half hours for my booking to be confirmed by hotel staff even though I showed them and sent them confirmation email from booking.com. The email also confirmed that payment has been made. Did not like how I was treated.

Clean, comfortable beds, very pleasant staff and well located . Broadband costs are ridiculously high and at a hotel of this standard, ought to be free to patrons. R60 for 100 mb is outrageously exploitative and is something that might be the deciding factor as to whether we stay at Protea of some other reasonably costed broadband access hotel. Also no BBC news channel.

The decor and ambiance are exquisite. It is a real treat for a business and leisure trip. Waiting long to have process my already confirmed booking. The waiting is the last thing I wanted after having received my booking confirmed via the internet - it seems the booking system is out of synch!

Staff members are exceptionally cheerful and friendly. Rooms are tidy and environment in general is welcoming. I have been at the hotel before and I signed out so that I can come again, preferably with either business colleagues or with my family. Why should I make a separate budget for breakfast after a comfortable night? You may want to look at this.

The hotel is central, the staff are pleasant, the room so comfortable, we were close to Melrose Arch, Rosebank and Sandton. The shower and toilets need to be cleaned properly. The shower had black scum on the inside and the rim of the toilet was disgusting.

Ideal location and proximity to key requisite ocations I need. The setting witihin the rustic Wanderers countryside-like environment gave one a feel of the country in a city setting - great.

Well situated. Good parking; Otherwise slack service and poor attention to details particularly room service. Sometimes room hardly looked cleaned - had to ask for soap. Poor management on the whole.

Clean and friendly I understood that it had a Gautrain shuttle but when there and needing it I discovered it only ran Mon-Friday. This was part of my criteria for booking and therefore I was annoyed. All other aspects good.

It was nice, safety and clean hotel, its good for families, students also they have good price also nice staff... We did our reservation 3 weeks ago and we called them lots of time for control our reservation...when we were arrived the hotel no body knew our reservation :( and they were found our reservation too late also were wait long time for check in but that hotel was good...

Located in rosebank. Poor service. Unfrendly staff. Too expencvie for what you get. Like the bathroomdoor didn't close. Rooms are pretty small. You have to pay 150 rand for an extra towl (swimmingpool) that you have to pick up by yourselfe. If you want to go to the pool you need to go through the restaurant and get a stupid look of the staff. Next time won't take it again.
