Beautiful hotel in a great location (Literally 2 minutes walk and you're at the centre of the Q&A waterfront) staff were very friendly and helpful. You are allowed to use the other two hotels facilities - next door for the Dockhouse and their pool and Garden and down some steps for the Q&A hotel which is great for Breakfast as it has a much more varied buffet and is on the waterfront. But out of the 3 in the hotel chain I'm pleased I stayed at the Queen Victoria.

The deluxe room was nice and spacious. Perfect location for the V&A.

I booked a Deluxe room on Booking.com, and the room I received was a lot smaller than I expected. I asked if there were any bigger rooms, and they sorted an "upgrade" to the room I had originally booked. Should have put us in that room to start with.

Their 5-star service! Everyone was very helpful.

A choice location when visiting The Waterfront, close to everything but privately situated away from the crowd. Tastefully furnished with a relaxed atmosphere.

The Queen Victoria Hotel was beautiful and very cosmopolitan. Our spectacular bathroom was the same size as our bedroom and brilliantly designed. The location was perfect with a short, safe walk to the Q&A Waterfront where shopping and dining was top class. Our breakfast was included in which we could order off a menu along with a lovely continental buffet. There was also champagne for mimosas served. I would stay again at this hotel again in the future.

It is located exceptionally well, giving you easy access to the Waterfront as well as tourist options like the Hop- on- hop- bus. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. Bathrooms are exceptional.

Staff did not meet our expectations at all. During breakfast we were only three tables to be served, and we are still waitng for the coffee that we ordered. Breakfast itself in this hotel was only adequate. We did however visit the Victoria & Alfred for breakfast on one of the mornings, and both the food and staff were excellent. Congratulations to this very friendly and efficient staff - special mention to a lady called Abigail. Not only did she see to all our needs, but was also well informed and even gave us details of the expected weather for the next two days! Based on reviews, we chose this hotel from many others for our 20th wedding anniversary. Although the staff was aware of this, nothing special was done. At the Beverley Hills in kzn so much more were made of our 10th anniversary. What a disappointment the Queen Victoria was - given the price asked. Although we specifically said that we used nothing from the mini bar and never ordered anything, we were billed incorrectly. Apparently we ordered from the bar - which we never did.

Great location, attractive design with a unique feel and very friendly and helpfull staff. A bit expensive but worth it for a day or two. My wife loved it.
