The one perfect place in Upington. Great location overlooking the Orange River. Spacious rooms, modern furnishing, very tasteful decor & textiles, totally quiet..... just loved it and booked my next trip!!

Would have liked some more local information, a guide to things in and around upington to see listed in the rooms information book. Also some info on a safe route for my morning run.

Beautiful setting on the Orange River and some rooms have nice views (sadly not our room).

Found it expensive for what we eventyually got... Eg: specifically asked for 2 twin beds, but didn't get it, although my sister who booked a week or so after me was lucky enough to get the twin beds + a little stoep with a view! Also, before booking I specifically asked if dinner would be available, but upon arrival was informed that due to owners being on holiday this wasn't a possibility any longer??

Cleanliness, efficiency, views

Excellent location on the banks of the Orange river. Extremely tranquil and relaxing after a long day in the heat of Upington. More importantly for me, the lodge is very neat and clean. Highly recommended!

The high standard of the buildings, decor and efficient staff.

We liked everything about this luxurious guest house, but what makes it very special is its setting on the banks of the Orange River. Watching a Kalahari sunset over the river from the comfort of our little balcony was just magical. next time (and we are adamant that there will be a next time) we will follow the example of another couple who decided, instead of going out for dinner, to use the fully equipped little kitchenette to full advantage and have a romantic meal on their own balcony.

Position on the river and not in town (very quiet and peaceful). Excellent rooms woth bath, shower, tv, patio. Breakfast served quickly and well presented.

Would have been perfect to have supper there - no chef at hte time.

Very modern well furnished and equipped rooms in a well located Guest Lodge. Appreciated it so much we stayed there on our return trip.

Very quite place with wonderful view to the orange river by the wonderful garden. We returned in the same hotel three days after. Room number 1 has a big balcony with river view and a private barbecue in the wall.

De keuken viel me tegen. Niet slecht maar erg basic.

Ruime kamers op een mooie locatie, alles netjes verzorgd.

Heerlijke lodge pal aan de Oranjerivier. Kamer heeft veel comfort en is sfeervol ingericht. Upington is een hele relaxte plaats met veel leuke winkels. Tuin met zwembad is heerlijk om uit te rusten. Ontbijt was heerlijk.

In het weekend geen mogelijkheid om te dineren en internet is tot 50 mb gratis (daarna dien je te betalen)
