The Bath wasnt washed and the hair and dirt from the previous visitor were still in the bath.
During the day I was staying with my 2 and 19 month old as my wife was at a conference. Room was spacious with a bath, shower and kitchenette. Staff was very helpful, even dishing up for me at breakfast while I was managing the kids. I would definately recommend "Three Cities Riverside Hotel"
the room was well organised , the service was good
I like that the room had a small kitchen area and fridge. We were down for a sporting event which meant early mornings and early evenings and little time for normal hotel breakfast and dinner hours. The location was also prefect and close to the sporting event
My booking was in correct , although the hotel finally accommodated me in a rather unapologetic and indigent way, they provided me with a room that clearly wasn't being used , a fact I soon discovered when I attempted to sleep and I couldn't due to the noise of the kitchen below and the bar outside. The staff were not particularly friendly and we were shoved from pillar to post when attempting to get some cutlery for our room. The last evening at 11pm just to add to the noise of the kitchen stuff and bar , a hotel staff member proceeded to vacuum outside my room door.
Excellent Food and Service
Noisy Aircon from our neighbours room kept us awake on Sunday Night.
I like the location.
Gym equipment is too old. The set up of family rooms.
i tried to sleep during the day and the way someone drilling and i was tired i couldnot sleep.i was not impressed
The other guests extremely noisy and the sound from the parking lot travels into the rooms. Our room was not ready on time and we were expected to wait until it was vacated. Our check in was from 14h00 and we arrived at 14h45.
very noisy they had music blaring right outside my window both nights i was there
Unproffessionalism. I nearly slept at the Airport...
The rooms were very comfortable. Resturant very cosy n comfortable. Staff were friendly.
The pool was dirty. Not enough facilities, the breakfast was tooooooo expensive. The menu is very limited, bar menu should be abit different from resturant.Pool area very small.
I liked that it's comfortable, clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The cushions on my bed were so old, cotton wool was coming out of them. They didn't match the hotel standard.
Room was large and comfortable and neat Cleaning staff friendly
Kitchen facilities inadequate Front desk staff must be more "customer friendly", must not rush guests No clothes hanging facility in bathroom
Location was excellent, good size rooms
Early check in wasn't ready after special request
A little bit of sound proof from other rooms can be improved
i liked the the food @ the mojo's restuarant. and it was quiet
however i had two littles one with me, age 6 and 1 my 6 year old sister was really looking forward to using the pool.had her swimming costume and all ready, only to find out that the pool wasn't cleaned that day (and it was a saturday!)
Blue Pool water and outside Chilling for friends,
Just. A Dirty. Pool
There was no view of a river
My short stay at the Riverside was very pleasant, beautiful views out over the river and the sea. Staff were very accommodating and I had everything I needed. Excellent for business or leisure.
Rooms not as soundproof as I would have liked, noisy drunk neighbours kept me awake in the early hours.
The location of this hotel is awesome. It's in close proximity to all amenities, prestine Durban beaches, championship golf courses, great running and cycling terrain, and most importantly, very friendly staff.
1. The quality of the breakfast can get better.
The scenery,location and tranquility
-allocation of towels -only 2 when booked in. -more tea bags (five roses please not rooibos) -more canderal sweeteners as we are diabetic
I liked the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. The cleanliness of the hotel and the welcoming vanilla scent as you enter. The family room was large and comfortable enough we even forgot about the absence of the ocean view.
The price of breakfast for a 4 year old child is inflated. Wish there were children facilities to help travellers with small children.
the remote of the tv was not working properly and was replaced with one that was even worse
My Son enjoyed the food on the restaurant and I would recommend everyone try Mozambique chicken. The corridor is noisy at times. I would also suggest you take the sea view option when making a booking because all I could see when I looked out was a corrugated iron roof.
