Would be brilliant for a family travelling - great location, spotless and really good value for money. Was very pleasantly surprised.

Spa was not open on the Sunday we were there.

Stayed in the Senator Suite with our 2 kids - facing Green Point Bay. Location is excellent for acess to V&A Waterfront by car and to the beaches, table mountain, etc. The welcome sherry in the suite definitely hits the spot after a long day Very good facilities and a sooped up, full continental breakfast was very good.

For the kind of money they charge, a full breakfast should be included. Cow skin rug in the living room didn't bother us but it could offend animal lovers or religious people who treasure cows. Their credit card machines gave a lot of issues and delayed our departure by 30 mins. They must sort this out as cash is not an option for payments when room rates are this expensive.

The suite had a nice view and was spacious enough to house our 4 bikes for the Argus. Hotel location was perfect for our needs and we walked comfortably to the stadium. Staff and food were excellent.

We were lucky and got an upgrade to 502 which was palatial with a sizeable terrace. Room very well furnished and bed linen first class. Staff were superb and so helpful. Wine list/room service.

A well run hotel conveniently located in a quieter part of Sea View. The suites are modern and tastefully decorated although the bedrooms are smaller than the living room area.We also enjoyed a nice sized balcony overlooking the pool and with a sea view. Unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy the facilities but the staff were kind enough to prepare a packed breakfast for our early departure to the airport. I would like to return for a longer stay.

    Nothing negative to report

Lives up to the expectations. Everything was as good as expected: rooms are spacious and luxurious, staff are friendly and helpful, facilities are extensive and good.

    Cleanliness,staff,food, size of suites.

Location was a little further from Waterfront and Town than we had imagined from description.

The Suite was beautiful, clean, big and very comfortable. We loved it and will be returning. This will now be our hotel of choice in Cape Town. It was fantastic and friendly.

The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient without being intrusive. They went beyond the call of duty to assist. The hotel itself is what a 5 star hotel is all about, and I have stayed in five star hotels throughout the world, some of which don't match up to this.Would definitely stay there again.

    Nothing to dislike.

I think the attention to detail was great and the rooms were spacious and well fitted out

There is a problem with barking dogs in the vicinity. This started at 4am in the morning and went on unabated for four hours. Management did try to do something but was ineffectual. It really needs to be sorted out as this will make me reconsider booking there
