A very good welcome , lovely setting , friendly staff and generally the place feels loved and cared for. Excellent food and would stay here again a very good website and easy to book on the web Bathrooms could be bigger.

We only stayed one night but our full impress,ion is that this place is much known as a restaurant rather than a guest house. We checked in around 19:00 to the guest house and there was noone welcoming us and the guest house staff was rather busy serving the restaurant guests. Altough from the outside it looks quite nice and peaceful, the rooms were very small and uncomfortable. But the location of the guest house is very good, and there are many other dining facilities nearby.

A nice stopover for the night in a picturesque historical little town. Thanks to the staff for their friendliness. Don't miss the museum and the blacberry farms and take your time walking through the town with its beautiful trees and coffee shops! The absence of self catering facilities, but then, it is an hotel, isn't it?!

Real pretty room, Gold room (Cottage with terrace). Delightful swimming pool, lovely garden, good breakfast in pretty dining room. Wonderful stay in old part of Swellendam, opposite Drostdy and other eateries and galleries, as well as beautiful gardens.

We were just looking for a bed for the night and were very pleasantly surprised by this charming old building. Dinner was delicious and our hosts provided a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Sfeervol hotel. We hadden de pech dat we op dat moment de enige gasten waren en de eigenaar had besloten een paar dagen weg te gaan. Enthousiaste aanbevelingen over het restaurant hebben we ook niet uit kunnen proberen.

Il ristorante:ottima cucina e locale intimo.... Lume di candela e camino scoppiettante. Stanza molto piccola e poco illuminata.Abiti intrisi di odori dopo aver cenato al ristorante. Locale doccia troppo buio.

Nothing stands out. No TV's in any of the rooms and the floors in rooms were no carpeted but hard (not wood). Restaurant was ok but very over-priced and the quality of the food was average.

Das Abendessen im Hoteleigenem Restaurant ist fabelhaft. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Atmosphäre war klasse. Das Personal und die Hotelbesitzer sind sehr zuvorkommend. Einfach spitze!!!

Je kunt goed eten in het restaurant. Gastheer noch gastvrouw was aanwezig bij aankomst. Naar kamer gebracht door personeelslid die verder geen info kon verstrekken. Kamer had geen airco, geen aparte douche, maar douche in het bad. Gezien de prijs hadden we iets meer comfort verwacht.

Es un alojamiento rural realmente precioso, decorado con mucho encanto. El jardín es muy bonito. Un lugar ideal para desconectar y relajarse. Cerca de la reserva natural de De Hoop y de Agulhas. El personal encantador y nos prepararon para cenar un bobotie y una de sopa de tomate deliciosos.
