How can two single beds be provided in a double room? There was no double mattress available. No secure parking. We had to park on the street.
no facility in room or common area for making coffee or tea TV reception/programmes available poor
Very kind host with very good trip suggestions
The swimming pool was closed because it was under construction. Beds were large but bumpy. Old sheets, clean but discollored which made them look dirty.
Thanks a lot to Michael for the perfect stay and excellent recomendations of what to see the highlights of the Cape town area. Definitely will recommend the hotel to my friends if they decide to come to SA. I&O

Location was excellent, staff very helpful, great restaurants a few minutes walk away. Waterfront only half hour walk away. Very quiet and safe premises.
The fact that we had no problem travelling to or from the hotel. It was convenient and central. Micheal is the friendliest host ever. It was very peaceful. .just what I needed. The room was made so cozy and comfortable. We had our privacy at all times no one checking up everytime. If needed we could contact Micheal no problem. I would definitely go back. Thanks guys Youre the best!
We loved everything!
No signage outside the Lodge, just a blank door. We were called by Michel and were expected but when we arrived the person their had not been briefed. Our room was not clean and during the night some sort of fruit landed with huge thuds on the roof, so we had very little sleep.
Cockroach in bathroom
Staff very friendly and helpful, very quiet and safe place.

Everything was excellent
Excellent personal service, really adding to our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble at any point during our stay. Great breakfast served outside in a lovely poolside courtyard.
No negatives at all, I'd recommend requesting a poolside room if you can - they look lovely.
Big room, big and comfy bathroom
Only thing we didn't like was the room we were in was at the front of the house and was a bit noisy when the staff prepared for Breakfast.
The owner Micheal was amazing and his staff was incredible. They made a very special birthday surprise for my traveling companion. It made our travel to Cape Town very special
Good location. Friendly staff.
Everything: the area, the facility, the exeptional support from the managment whenever I have requested their help. I wish I could stay longer with them.
Nothing to report, all good
We loved the quiet location so close to great restaurants

We thought the room was a lovely and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely- bath was nice and big. Liked having a bar fridge and fruit and snacks available.Aircon was great!
There was no milk in the fridge for tea and coffee. Only had about 2/3rds of a toilet roll and no spare. Only one pillow each and they were very soft.
The size of the room The room was quiet. location.
