It offers 2 outdoor pools and has 2 spacious verandas. All of the rooms at Roseland House include antique furnishings and complimentary tea, coffee, biscuit and chocolates. All rooms include satellite TV with on-demand channels. Hair dryers are supplied in all rooms as well as toiletries. Guests at Roseland House can relax in the formal pool by the dining area or in a more secluded pool surrounded by grounds. Roseland House is fully licensed and drinks can be served in guests’ rooms or on the veranda. Roseland House is less than half a mile from routes N3 and N2 and offers secure covered parking for each room. Good location as a link between Durban and the Drakensberg. Well appointed rooms. Double beds were comfortable, but too narrow. Equivalent hotels now have 2x100cm beds joined together allowing more space to spread out in bed.

Suitably located for the business meeting I had to attend as well as restaurants for an evening meal. Well received on arrival and room was comfortable with more than the number of tv channles to choose from. Only minor irritations such as the light in the bathroom was dull, mattrass was too soft for me.
