Having to leave.
It's a value for money. Hotel is small but neat and clean. Specially the most courteous staff. They are quite helpful.
I spent almost 24 hours but did not find anything annoying.
Close to city and good coffee shop - Haas. Ursula and Michel very helpful with local knowledge and went out of their way to assist us on our holiday. Spacious rooms.
Nothing at all
Great location Very hospitable owners, who went out of their way to assist Excellent breakfast Clean and spacious rooms Good Wi-fi
Ursula and Michel were very nice, they gave us valuable tips and helped us to enjoy the city. the rooms are spacious and nicely organized, it was a pleasure waking up in the morning with the wonderful fresh pomegranade juce and breakfast prepared at the moment for us.
The hospitality was the best making the ending of our trip a real delight. The choices for breakfast were hard to decide because they were all the best we have had on any trip. We wanted to have some of each so we shared. The entire staff went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend Rouge on Rose for anyone traveling to Cape Town.

- Michel and Ursula were phenomenal hosts and made sure we were well taken care of while in Cape Town. Great dinner and activity recommendations. - Great location, walking distance to Waterfront and downtown areas, quick drive to Table Mountain and the botanical gardens. Really great spot to use as a base for a few days - Big, well lit room with lots of natural light, cool decorations and a great view of the neighborhood (room #302) - Breakfast is hearty and homemade
Huge Rooms French Feeling Excellent Breakfast Lots of character
The location is very central but I would try another area next time. (I like to try different hotels & locations.)
Friendliness of staff, feeling at home Interior Design/Decoration Clean Value for money Spacious rooms
Location Not many (if any at all) options if some one prefers eating in the hotel. Coffee sachets in the room many months after consumption due date. Why unrated?
Ursula and Michel are excellent in assisting travellers with car hire, trips, information and where to eat locally. Great bed, lovely linen, very clean. Beaut sitting area, everything you require and a kitchenette. Excellent breakfast as well. Would definitely stay again, we loved this place and Cape Town.
Nothing at all
spacious room and excellent breakfast
Nothing, really desapointed for the situation, high danger zone.
Always band around the hotel and security officer on duty but not every where.
Very nice stuff, very good kitchen (for breakfast) and good recommendations for restaurants and bars (from the stuff) Perfect location for 3 days Capetown
Spectacular breakfasts! Room was large and lovely (the deluxe suit). Fabulous central location and overall a very nice stay. I recommend it.
Parking is limited, but we had no issues.
incredible place, super close to the center, excellent staff, incredible breakfast, splendid room. even they helped me because i had an accident and they took care to call to embassy, insurance, etc it's the best experience booking and hotel in my life. obviously i'll return :))
I felt like @ home. One of my best hotel experience. Excellent stay. Ursula makes you feel good and is very helpful.
As I appreciate a robust breakfast, quantities could have been more. But quality was there for sure!
Great location, close both the V&A and to the downtown area. Everything within easy walking distance or very short taxi ride. The hotel itself is excellent value for money - interesting design, large rooms and great breakfast for a very reasonable price. Owner and staff super-friendly and informative
Better take a taxi after dark... But then again it's the rule of thumb in almost all Cape Town.
