The Receptionist was pleasant and helpfull.

I will never again book at Royal Game. Couple of concernes are as follows: Room 14 Shower tap handle was loose ad kept on coming loose. Towels were clean but worn(old) and too small. Basin overflow was leaking. Bath coating was coming loose and had a chunk missing. The towns electricity was down from 10pm to 5am and accept that it was not the guest lodges fault. The rechargable lamps were not charged. I phoned reception desk to let them know but no answere. There was no effort in getting us at least a candle for some light while working. I contacted the owner on my cell and did not get much concern from her. I asked for candles. She sent the security with a lamp which left a gastly smell in my room from the fumes. Have they heard of a generator? Another gentleman in another room opposite the pool also complained and said never again will he book at Royal Game. I had to have a cold shower on the morning of the 20th. Strange that the basin had warm water (not hot) and not the shower. I could not believe this is a 4 star Guest house. The pool was dirty. I did bring a costume but did not use it for this specific reason. I did not even have breakfast as I just wanted to get out of there due to the bad experiances I had at "Royal" game guest house. Le lit est extrêmement confortable. Idéal pour les voyageurs fatigués !

L'acompte de 225 Rand payé à l'avance (22 euros) m'a été débité par erreur une seconde fois une semaine après la nuit passée à l'hôtel. Tout est rentré dans l'ordre après quelques mails échangés, mais les rasions évoquées par l'hôtel pour se justifier de cette erreur m'ont semblé complètement farfelues. A se demander s'il ne s'agit pas d'une pratique courante de cet hôtel...

Ottima la posizione molto vicino al gate phalaborwa del Kruger. Vicino a posti di ristoro

Although the power problems were not your fault, it is most disappointing to arrive at your destination, to find that you don't have a booking after all / are over-booked, due to your power problems, you didn't have our booking, then need to be shipped off to another guest house, and then to have no hot water is most frustrating when you've paid the full rate.
