Very neat and comfortable accommodation at a very affordable price. Centrally situated and easily reached. Well designed renovations to heritage building.

Very central This old hotel has no characer. The photos on the website is misleading. The gym is not part of the hotel. It is a private gym next door. No coffee in the room. Breakfast was very average. We wont recomend it.

The hotel advertise An indoor pool and dstv in every room however the pool is closed from 12 oclock on a sat for the weekend this is unexceptalble if you advetise a product the you should provide that product this is from your advert on the website Guests also have access to our gym and indoor pool.NO Mention of closing on a saterday @ 12

Its not an hotel.....its an B/B. Vehecles parked in the street at night time. Tv with no remote and no kettle in the room. I think for the location its overpriced.

the convenience. the price. breakfast is adequate, but there was no variation, apart from either scrambled, poached or fried eggs. allright for a few days but would be too much of the same. maybe they could provide cereals as well.

Rooms were well fitted and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, well presented, and fresh and tasty. We did a ten day road trip on motorcycles, and chose all our over night stays via the internet, mainly because we wanted a pool (to swim in the heat). Dissappointed that the day we arrived the pool was closed and we could not use it at all. You should advertise it as part of a gym and only open during gym hours. The bathroom had a glass panel, which can be viewed from the bedroom - straight onto the toilet - not practical at all. A curtain/roll down blind would be a benefit to the person who does not want to be viewed whilst doing their private business.

Beds were comfortable and a nice big shower. It is close to many shops and facilities. The rooms are small. Not enough space for luggage. Not much cupboard space. The website showed that there is free "private" parking but it is in fact "public" parking with a 24hr security guard. The room doors are heavy and not easy to lock. One of the rooms we booked we struggled with the door. The carpets weren't very clean.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns viele gute Tips gegeben. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Die Lage des Hotels war zentral, aber weniger schön als eine Unterkunft außerhalb.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis stimmt Zimmer war sehr dunkel und das Fenster konnte nicht geöffnet werden da eine zwei Verglasung wegen dem Straßenlärm davor angebracht wurde. Die Umgebung ist nicht die Schönste bzw. Sicherste

It's next to main road so easy accesable but not so romantic & special. Knysna is very beautiful but the location of the hotel doesn't show that. The place is spacious and very clean. Basic needs are very good but it has no extra 'royal' feeling. Rooms are clean & spacious. The house/hotel could benefit much more from it's history as all the ingredients are there but it just misses the full recipe.
