The privacy and hospitality was very good
Clean and neat.
Shower drain blocked. Shower water inconsistently cold and warm. TV remote no batteries.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating in making sure we were comfortable and gave us a room which was perfect as we had to spend a lot of time in the hotel as my husband needed to go in for a medical procedure, thank you!
Outside our bedroom window we had guests smoking early in the morning
The walls in my room are so thin you hear absolutely everything happening in the next room. I complained and was given another room which I didn't like. The view to my room was of the spares store which looks like a mess. The door to the store is broken and everytime I walked to my room I was met with this mess.
There is no info book in room
Breakfast was good, room was tidy, bath amenities included
A skylight above the bed had you wide awake at 5.30am with no curtains to block it out, upon arrival the room was HOT with the air on not left on to greet nicely upon check-in, phone in room didn't work so to get wifi password we had to walk a fair distance at 11.30pm just for the password from reception
I liked that the restaurant staff we so friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful and though kitchenette area was small it was spaced correctly so it felt spacious. Bed was nice and comfy!
3 things: -The tv was a bit out-dated so we could not watch the movies we brought from out hard drives. We then got a media player so we could watch in that way but it still would not work. Im just mentioning the below as I know it's probably out of the staffs hands but: -We could hear the person showering upstairs early in the morning and the next night the alarm went off upstairs from 04:30-06:00 am -I especially booked our stay their for the spa/massages for my hubby as an anniversary present but it was under renovations.
The location was convenient. Everything spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Cleaning staff were obliging. The little gym.
The desk staff were extremely disorganised and slack. Breakfast was inedible. Spotlights shone into the room all night.
Having the room as well as a lounge area. Spacious, clean and neat.
Very nice food & excellent milk shake (!) in hotel restaurant; parking in front of room; Our appartment had two bedrooms and as bedroom no. 1 was to hot (underneath the roof) we slept downstairs in bedroom no 2. We were happy to be able to do so.
check-in time 1 hour later than mentioned on booking.com (4 pm instead of 3 pm) and still we had to wait about 30 minutes (until 4:30 pm) until we could go into the room. Bed linen with a lot of brown and yellowish stains, very disgusting! We had two bedrooms with about 8 pillows in total but found only 2 that did not have any stains. No soap in the bathrooms, but greasy soap dishes ! Floor in bedroom no. 2 not vaccumed, but as bedroom no. 1 was to hot (underneath the roof) and had no TV, we slept downstairs in bedroom no 2. (but, we were happy to be able to do so). No "How was your stay?" or anything like that on check-out. We were happy that we paid a lower last minute price. Paying full price for the room would not have been good value, considering our service & cleanlilness requirements
the setting and gardens were excellent the rooms were spacious locations was central in the context of Cape town i.e. going to water front, wine lands, etc. Staff was friendly
Spar was not working due to renovations menu for breakfast could have been better
Reception staff was kind and helpful
Bad wifi Average breakfast 30 minutes outside the city Not good value for money Veeeeeeeeeeeeeery slow restaurant service!
The fact that the television was situated in the lounge and not in the bedroom which wouldve been more relaxing.
EVERYTHING!!! Fantastic service, awesome facilities, great people... Perfect and well worth it!
The quiet atmosphere and good service from the friendly staff.
Terrible service from several staff members; Noisy; Poor value for money
