Very friendly staff, from reception to kitchen staff. Very comfy bed. Had a great stay. Would recommend this to friends.
Loved the ambiance of this quaint B&B in the heart of Stellenbosch. The bed was comfy and it felt like traveling back to yester year but with today's luxuries. The dinning area is amazing around the lil swimming pool
Wifi was poor in the room and the chairs on the outside area was small and uncomfortable. I had a begger knocking at my door in the middle of the night which raises safety concern for single female travelers.
No interest in the guest Piles of rubbish outside room on arrival Noisy kitchen staff Pastries - don't bother Breakfasts very average Stuffy room
The conact me becourse a forgat a jacket.
No aircondition. No working tv and saftybox.
A quaint country inn with beautiful décor and friendly staff. Within easy walking distance of the town of Stellenbosch. We haven't relaxed and slept so well for a long time. Great breakfasts.
Walking distance to town centre. It could accommdate 4 adults, one room with a double bed another room with two single beds. The bathroom is spacious, a bath and seperate shower. I love the bath, it is nice for a couple enjoy it together.
Location. Nice breakfast and dining room.
All the keys needed to get in and out. Cold coffee at breakfast. Everything looking a little tired.
Next door to noisy all-night student party. Very basic accommodation, more like budget accommodation. Breakfast average, cooked breakfast not great. Price too high for single room.
I was there for business at the university and the location was great for my purposes. Great breakfast. Great big bath and separate large shower in the bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The cottage did not have basic self-catering kitchen facilities. The apartment was very cold. The apartment didn't have the correct plug fittings for things like their hairdryer and the fridge leaked.
Manager was very friendly
Roof in room a bit low, strange architecture
loved the honeymoon suite, great breakfasts.friendly and helpful staff
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast!
It was very comfortable for an overnight stay and the breakfast was very good.
Friendly and uncomplicated check-in. We got a free upgrade into a cottage as we requested a twin-bedded room. WiFi was available and worked fine.
Cleanliness is not high on demand! Bathtub was dirty (brown marks) and there were footprints on the bathroom floor. Generally the hotel is a bit run-down. I would not pay more than R500 the night (for two persons, inkl. breakfast), which is what we paid. The breakfast was included, but that's it. I would not go for it if it were not included. Also the breakfast lady was really surly and seemed kind of stressed.
it was great value for money . Will definitely stay there more often , while visiting our children at university .
Pleasant Room, Good Breakfast
Our Room, down a Dark Alley had no Outside Lights, and they were not fixed during our Stay.
Clean, walking distance to town center, secure parking
Was a bit noisy
The receptionists were exceptional and welcoming, all of them from Nadya, Ilka and Sheryl
The Wi-Fi was horrible during my stay
Lovely and quaint
The breakfast was delicious! And staff was very friendly.
I stayed in studio 7, there is a apartment or something adjacent to the room and I was quite startled with the noise and only a door separating us. Maybe just let a guest know about that and that the people on the other side can't get in.
The lodge is good value for money. Lovely pool!
Flaking paint and in need of some TLC in some areas.
Garden cottage option provided more "space"
Getting a little "tired", but offering fits in with cost
Close to all the enmities, shops, restuarants. The general housekeeping of the rooms were clean and breakfast was really good Overall ,we enjoyed our stay and felt safe.
The milk wasn't refilled everyday in the room. The resident parking very awkward especially when the parking area is full.
Charming and neat. In the heart of Stellenbosch. Close to university. Excellent base to explore attractions around Stellebosch. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was very nice. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to other travellers.
Position Good reception staff
Poor furnishings , faulty shower , faulty light , unhappy staff at breakfast, not advised accomodation was in seperate room across road Not worth the money
