Door can't lock, bed uncomfortable, tiles on the sides of bed. Hand shower only, cold water kettle doesn't work. no inside chairs. Pathetic
The door could not lock. No hot water for a hand shower only. Kettle did not work. You can not get up and down from the double bed. Space extremely limited. Only plastic garden chairs to sit on. We were booked and paid for 5 nights, left after 1 night. Pathetic!
Location is okay.
Very old chalets, bed is very hard, everything is very old and just looks bad. Looks like the walls don't block any sound. Definitely not worth the money Would not recommend
The place is located within close proximity to town. The scenery is quite amazing. I found the owner/manager to be a very congenial man. The place is far from the noise of city life and makes for a lazy and relaxed atmosphere. The lack of television sets in the chalets is a great idea as it allows visitors to spend some quality time together.
This is not necessarily what I did not like, but rather suggestions on further improvements: A restaurant will add a lot value to the place as it will reduce travelling to town to get food when lazy to cook/braai. A big screen tv set placed at a central place is a necessity, especially when there are big sporting events taking place.
We loved the fact, that while easy access was possible to Sabie town, this facility was far enough out (under 3kms) to be secluded and peaceful. The gardens are lovely, the rushing stream soothing, and while the furnishings are tired, they are spotlesslessly clean. We were very comfortable and would happily return.
My only complaint was that while the chalets are daily well serviced, I would have liked a tea towel, washing up cloth and some dish washing liquid to clean up as I go. Not happy to leave merely rinsed dishes till the next morning.
The nature trail to the waterfall. The braai area with wood to burn.
The hospitality of the staff.
Quiet and good place for one to relax. The natural environment .
No privacy in the main bedroom ( no door and not well insulated against cold air) No bathroom soap and shampoo No dish cloth and dish soap.
Nature View Owners were friendly
no hot water Exposed electrical wires at pool no warning sign at suspended bridge on one side Not child friendly Bed -rock hard No staff to tell about hot water No braai grid at unit General upkeep is neglected .
The staff were helpful and friendly.. Beautiful scenery and river nearby. Near places of interest Peaceful and quiet.
The chalets need to be renovated, revamped. Kitchen need new cutlery, crockery, etc. Shower head to low and toilet to small.
The sound of the river flowing and the nature surroundings. Plenty fire wood and warm water which is sometimes a problem
The slate floor are very cold - no loose carpets.
Very nice for a weekend
Very primitive. Dieces were not dried and packed away.
THE USUAL THINGS THAT GO WITH THE FARMS
The setting was lovely and quiet
cannot comment of staff as we did not deal with any of them except the owner for the keys
location next to river
chalets a bit tired
I loved the secluded area,, the bush feeling. i loved our chalet. the bedding looked a bit clean but could be improved. Nice cutlery everything available. excelent.
no site of staff or ppl from lodge. not much care taken of the pool. the boma area can be more improved.
very good location and environment. I am live in No.8, have a garden, my sun can play in here. have a river and bridge. very beautiful.
have some mosquito in the room.
Nothing. Will not go back again.
The surrounding and settings
The linen rather old and please don't leave doors and windows open if your guest are arriving at night .Must you settle your kids into bed or vacate all insect and moths first. My daughter refuse to sleep in the chalet eventually spent the night in the car
The mountain view and the river running through the property.
They can invest in a shower curtain, the bathroom floor is under water after a shower.
location good gardens and surroundings area restful manager helpful canine visitor
broken appliances broken shower lack of kitchen utensils
The gorgeouse setting, friendly staff, not in town, but very close to Saie - easy to find. Spacious and private. Lot's of potential!
the facilities and the grounds need some attention...
I was totally shocked for what I got for the price. Rip-off
Nothing. Worst room/chalet I have stayed in my life and I travel quite a bit.
the area and river
two plate stove blew up on arrival late at night, tripped power, walked to reception in darkness as no lights were on outside along the pathway, tried to phone number as indicated on office door but no cell phone reception outside office, eventually guard showed up and put electricity back on.No flat sheet on double bed, only fitted sheet over matress, no toilet paper,(no towels? or were we supposed to bring our own?) door of no 11 cannot lock from inside or outside with the key provided, young sick horse observed on Saturday with breathing problem, obviously owner not interested in providing care as the horse was dead on Sunday, groom blamed it on snakebite and tried to bury it as quickly as possible. The overall impression was : Not good. if you want to keep horses to eventually use them for outrides, please remember that many of your future clients know more about their well being than you might think, so do provide proper care. if they belong to somebody else and not Sabistar please point this out to the owner.
nice and peacefull clean value for money
