Fantástico hotel!!, La habitación mirando el rio Sabie, estupendo!!, Muy buenas instalaciones y ubicación tanto para entrar al Kruger park como para hacer otras recorridas. Muy recomendable su relación precio calidad

Excelente y calida atención. Ubicación espléndida frente al rio y al Kruger Nat. Park. Deck muy bien desde donde se pueden ver los animales (hipopotamos y antilopes) abrebar y/o nadar. Muy recomendable

Non-existent facilities eg. No bath, no tv, cramped rooms, outrageously expensive game drives with zero guarantees, rowdy guests in neighbouring rooms, not relaxing at all!

I was on holiday with my Mom - first holiday since my Dad passed away suddenly in December. The serenity and peacefulness of the Lodge was so welcome and perfect. The Staff at Sabie River Bush Lodge are incredible - they give this beautiful lodge a feeling of home and happiness! Musi, Mandla, Sydney, Welcome, Edwell, Ted, the Madala and everyone else, we could not have been more warmly welcomed and looked after with such professionalism and genuine care. A small gesture but which speaks volumes - every morning our car was washed. It was the loveliest surprise and such a wonderful, thoughtful thing to do, especially given how dirty the car gets driving through the Kruger Park. My mother commented on the fact that because the Staff are so friendly it creates a friendly, peaceful environment between the guests themselves! We loved the tents, so fabulous! Next time I will book the riverfront tents as the bathroom is integrated. The luxury of lying in bed and watching the river and hippos is priceless! The Lodge is beautifully maintained, the grounds are spotless and the gardens are lovely, very well landscaped and pretty. The way the relatively small property is utilised is brilliant. The accommodation and dining areas, lounge and TV room are so well laid out and the beautiful deck and pool on the river is so impressive and the ultimate chilling spot! One of the most impressive features of the Lodge is the value for money it offers and delivers. We got a great deal on booking.com (thanks!), but more than that, the costs for food and beverages at the Lodge are very reasonable and fair. Usually when one stays at a Lodge or hotel it is annoying to be charged inflated prices for food and drinks. Sabie River Bush Lodge prices its drinks and (delicious) meals very reasonably and does not take advantage of its guests.

The showers for the self catering tents were too cramped. There is no need for the basin inside and it makes it very difficult to dry oneself and dress. I understand the tavern music issue is being resolved but it really intrudes on the peace. Fortunately it wasn't heavy metal or hip hop!! They are required to stop their music at 12 and the Lodge Staff should phone the police if they don't. The music on Saturday night went on until 2am. Both businesses can co-exist but the Tavern must be responsible and realise a lot of jobs depend on this beautiful Lodge succeeding. I am willing to offer my legal services for free I love this Lodge so much!!

the stuff so helpfull and friendly, I also had one of my best game drives there,the location by the river unique, I loved the hammocks and the huge tents

the room was supposed to be with river view but it had only a narrow tall window with bars outside, you could barely see the river when you get close. Choose room number 1, it;s the same price and so much better

We could sit in the dining room to look over the river, could see only hippo unfortunately but might see many elephants, buffalos, rhinos of Kruger N.P. They have very good chefs. I had soup for 2 evenings, were excellent! Here in Switzerland, hardly have such a tasty soup.nice dishes , freshly baked bread, scon, muffin. Going to Kruger N.P is so easy. Just driving on the main road about 14 km.

Good real kitchen cooked meals. All staff super friendly but not intrusive. Even washed our cars daily. Stunning setting at river. We had a lovely stay.

Would have liked a TV in the room but as there were 2 in the open areas it was not a problem.

Loved everything - Staff, accommodation, game drives, superb meals. The family members I took to the lodge for my 70th Birthday can't stop talking about the BIG spoil they had. Well done! We cant wait to come back.

The fact that we couldn't spend another day or two in natures wonderland at River Lodge.

the views from the pool deck,watching elephants in the distance,staff very friendly,evening meals by in the boma was very nice.

we stayed in room number four,no view except for the' staff only enterance',machine noise factor not good at all was on-off all night,shower door fell on top of me,reported the door to the acting manager he never even asked me was I alright!!!,on departure day no machine for me to make credit card payment.

An excellent value for money resort close to the Kruger national park. We stayed in the "luxury tents". A great experience and we were well taken care of.

The proximity to the Kruger gate (15 min.), the sun-deck by the river and a friendly and helpful staff.

Small pool, small rooms (the tents a great), very basic bathroom. Rooms and deck are quite worn.

The riverside accommodation.. with views to Kruger Park, the helpful staff, peaceful atmosphere, relaxed wildlife viewing and the inclusive meals ..

Nice hotel situated just at the Kruger Park border and the Sabie river. Great views. There were 5 hippo's in the river during our 3 days stay. At the last day we saw also a group of elephants at the river. The neighbourhood is quiet so you can relax just laying on the deckchair. The staff was very helpful and kind - especially the 2 security guys who where working during the day! You will get your car cleaned every morning for free which is good after visiting the Kruger Park. To the Kruger Gate is about 19 km which is okay.

Quite far away from the city (Hazyview) and normal shops - you have to drive more than 20 min to get there. The swimmingpool was quite clean but it needs a renovation. The rooms and the bathrooms could be a little better.

We loved the position of the lodge overlooking the river.Also the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We booked 2 luxury river tents, but our son and his partner had to move to room with no river view because the electic was not working. This was ok but we were not offered any refund on the accomodation. I think this was wrong as the room was cheaper.

Lodge set-up and friendly staff, and value for money.

To close to the road, and local spaza shop music to noisy. Accommodation / room very old. Not the venue if u're looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend.
