Ashbourne bed and breakfast is located in Hazyview, a 20-minute drive from the entrance to Kruger National Park.

Located in the heart of the Mpumalanga Lowveld and Panorama Route, this lodge offers stylish rooms with private entrances and verandahs.

Set on the grounds of a 9-hole golf course, Kruger Park Lodge - Golf Safari SA is located on the banks of the Sabie River.
Score from 16 reviews Wonderful
The friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. The location is great too and the place is really well looked after.
i ask for eggs and asked the waiter to make sure that they do not contaminate it with bacon , but when i received it , i found bacon with the eggs , i would never eat there again
I highly recomend the tents there are awesome, the food is great, we saw a hippo in the river and monkeys in the trees
Our bathrom was outside of the tent in a seperate building
The camp itself and its amenities are very pleasant.
Traffic noise due to the nearness of the road. Also, although the owners were there we saw no sign of them. I thought there laundry costs were also a bit high.
We took the luxury tent with rubber view. Compared to the other tents, which were equally nice but a little smaller and with bathrooms outside the tent (not shared), the price is definitely too high. Apart of that we had a nice stay there close to the river.
Loved the view from my bed on the river. The deck with the pool was fantastic.
Didn't like the bathroom being apart from my tent. At night it's a mission to go to the bathroom. The shower room is extremely small.
The staff was friendly
You walk into your door and climb on the bed at the same time
The drive into the Kruger park. Facilities clean and staff helpful.
The staff and facility are fantastic. Everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to assist you in any way.
Rooms are really small so if you feel like chilling in your room for a bit, it feels really small.
Located just on the river bank, though river is behind the fence as it belongs to Kruger. friendly staff.
Location - not far from gates but not near at the same time, though Kruger'a fence is lodge'a fence. No entertainment outside lodge. restaurant: cuisine is rather primitive. Safari service: our driver was like half-blind, didn't show us any animals but 2 cameleos (we saw a lot but we showed them to the driver). He forgot that we had a half day tour and brought us back 2 hours later then we expected (if you have a flight in the afternoon it matters).
Gorgeous view of the river
Staff was fantastic
We would like a public area or lounge to spend the day if it is raining. The bar is not very customer friendly as there is not really any place to sit and watch television or read a book. That would help that people rather spend the day there and not have to drive out and spend there money somewhere else.
Everything, this was our second stay after two years and their service, standards and hospitality is impeccable. ...would recommend
Well located for accessing Kruger National Park. Good accommodation, with a decked area with views over the river into the park. Dining room overlooks the river and park, we saw white rhino one evening. Good choice of food and wine. Breakfasts excellent Amazingly our car was washed every day for us.
there was nothing to dislike about Sabie River Bush Lodge and I would stay there again.
the friendly service and location watching the flow of water.
A beautiful place, friendly and competent staff from the moment you arrive until departure. The food was 5 star quality, view beautiful.
That I could not stay longer!
Sabie River Bush Lodge was a great Spot for a Trip to Kruger as well as to other Sights (Panorama Route...). Our room unfortunately had no river view as the river and the porch close to it with a swimming pool was perfect to relax for a couple of hours or even the whole day. But what we really have to mention is the perfect service of the extraordinary friendly staff taking care for us.
We missed African food. Every breakfast and dinner were delicious but there were no original African food on the menu...
Location to the Kruger gate was good.
The accommodation was advertised as luxury tents, there was nothing luxurious about it. Towels were minimum and small, no glasses or water in the room, no mosquito repellent in the rooms. The food was terrible, there was a day it was so salty and burnt you could not eat it, obviously there was no trained chef. We booked a safari drive, our driver did not listen to our instruction, when to stop for pictures etc. was impatient and was intoxicated. When my friends arrived late in the evening to the lodge, the guy manning the gate was drunk and becoming a nuisance to them, he was confused about their keys to the room. I was given a very small rebate for our safari which was a great disappointment . Never again
View of the river Unbelievably welcoming and friendly staff, everyone, without exception. Quite an experience
No en-suite bathroom, but not a huge problem, just worth knowing ahead of time
Lovely tents and fantastic location on the river. Watched a young bull elephant taking his morning drink whilst we were on the pool deck
Bathroom facilities very basic and not sure I really enjoy the communal lavatories. Would prefer en suite.
We had 10 glorious days with outstanding staff, delicious food and a wonderful outlook. Thankyou
Location is superb. Near the river between Hazyview en Kruger. Nice terrace to relax and view over the river They cleaned the car
Diner is TERRIBLE. A disgrace. Baddest meal (buffet) we had in ZA. It was so bad that we had to laugh instead of being disappointed. Service: no service, not interested in the well being of the guests. Only interested in very cheap food against big prices. Most expensive drinks we had in ZA. Wine: vinegar :( No fridge in room.
Very nice people and very helpfull personel. Good location to enter the park and nice view on the river. Nice view on the Krugerpark over the river. With a little bit of luck you can see animals coming to the river.
Nothing important to mention.
not much life at the river bank
The staff may not have been the most "polished" but there was no doubting their enthusiasm and willingness to try to do well. The pool deck in the evenings was especially pleasant with the animals coming down to the water for a drink
