Manager was friendly
1) Shower gel container was half empty on arrival 2) Cleaning staff put cap back on empty shower gel container and left container in shower without replacing or refilling. 3) 1/4 toilet roll only on arrival 4) Cleaning staff did not restock toilet roll and none available for use the following evening 5) Did not clean the bath from dead insects.
1) Very friendly and helpful receptionist 2) Quality bed and bedding 3) Quality shower and water pressure
1)A lack of a table or desk to work at. 2)Lack of working bed lamps 3)Extra blankets
No boddy there, poor service and the place smells like a old hospital. Dount ask for brekfast it is realy bad
Staff not always available
good hard bed and lovely linen.
no dressing table with mirror, waste bin in room,
Cleanliness and friendly staff
Comfort was compromised...room heating was inadequate. Toileteries, including toilet paper and shower gel set, were not replenished after supply for 1st night. Lastly, I suspect same towels were recycled (although washed and dried) for my use for the three days I spent there, one of the smaller towels consistently had hole/tear in it and given to me for 3 days...
Quick and sufficient check in. Friendly service. Bed sleeps very comfortable - Did not want to get up in the morning :).
Mosquito's in the room - could not close the windows then there will be no ventilation in the room. Dust on the light bulbs (bed side lamps). Overall the room needs a splash of colour, everything is in plain white. The room and outside courtyard (swimming pool area) needs some love and maintenance. Overall the stay was great.
Very Clean and daily serviced.
Torn curtains No Chair Wi-fi bad Breakfast to late
Quiet location. Very comfortable bed, (down) blankets and (feather) pillows. Manager (Carin) very helpful and welcoming. Got upgraded from a twin room to a nice king-sized bed room with shower and bath, and even a mini fridge in the room, which is very useful and important for me.
Really minor stuff in the construction of the house and room, which did not reduce my enjoyment from the stay, but could be done a bit better, with more attention to final details. However, this is still way better than a $100 a night hotel I stayed at in Rustenburg.
I love the tranquil environment Excellent location
Service is quite possibly the worst I have ever experienced in the 15 years I've been travelling to Cape Town!!
The room was always clean, great service.
Very comfortable and cosy place. Liked it a lot, very private. I would definitely go back there.
Could improve a bit on breakfast.
Dstv was off and no wifi
Staff were friendly. Place was clean. Quiet and peaceful.
For the entire 4 days I was there - I had to use the same small bottle of shampoo, when this was finished and thrown away, it was not replaced. I had to pay the full amount due on the first day of my arrival there. breakfast choices was limited- some fruit would have been great for me who does not eat red meat or maybe some type of fish.
The mattresses were of a good quality and the furniture still in good condition.
The place needs owner supervision. The garden needs attention and the house a good spring clean. The breakfast was not up to standard and the service not good. No safe parking.
Bed was horrible. Some fittings in the bathroom were broken. Breakfast was not top notch. Breakfast staff were not terribly friendly.
The location, safety and wi-fi
The staff (except the receptionist) is not friendly, the breakfast is served on first come first serve basis once something is finished it is never replaced. They did not adhere to our bed preference. No dust bin in the room. The cleaning staff left us a note with a bar soap stating that we should wash our stains from the sheet and if they don't come out we must pay for the new sheet.
I liked the staff they were quite friendly
Requested to check in earlier upon my arrival guests had not checked out The room was infested with ants The bed gosh was so uncomfortable slept on springs Tv outdated Gabbage left in front of room Spider webs in room Lapa couches dirty Breakfast was so limited as to a four star Stayed in a 1 star and there was more a variety Place Not well taken care of
Nice location. Secure area. Good to have a key to come and go.
Not to much privacy outside the room. Cannot sit outside. Breakfast serving is very slow. Juice and coffee when finished not refilled.
The place could be nice and pleasant if properly managed. It is a shame as after years I saw it going really down. Today it needs a very serious lift off. We left after a few days when we found much much better for cheaper.
Breakfast and employees mood.
Was not happy with the fact that what I booked for through booking.com is not what I received.... No views, no bath, no double beds, a broken door, a below average breakfast and terrible service!
