Paid Wi-Fi seems to be the bane of most travelers' existence, but if larger hotel chains charge for it, one can hardly expect it to be free at a small guesthouse.
I would have liked a small bar fridge in the double room, since there appeared to be sufficient space to accommodate one. This would make it easier to keep cold beverages in the hot summer.
The owner's Riaan and Angelique were very courteous and accommodating of our needs, especially since we had three children in the group.
The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. I noticed that the owners had taken heed of previous reviews and had made available coffee and tea facilities for each room. One of our rooms, the family room, also had a fridge and microwave.
Even though the breakfast was a relatively small selection compared to a hotel buffet, it had everything we liked and wanted. Fresh fruit juice, fruit salad, muesli, yoghurt, cheese and preserves, a selection of breads, coffee / tea and eggs prepared whichever way you like.
The home made preserves were a special treat and they could add a new line of specialty items as an additional revenue stream :)
