David was very welcoming and the breakfast was really great. The country-like setting was lovely and the eateries in the area, very good
The parking area is very tight when reversing to get out. Suggestion to travellers: park backwards if possible!
Great breakfast, lovely staff
Shower door to short, lots of water lands on the floor.
Great location lovely property excellent staff
Nice looking guest house with a charming layout. The hosts were warm and welcoming.
Unfortunately there was no power or water when I checked in and after riding in the rain for a few hours it was not a great first impression. Out of their control but with electricity services being so poor recently it might be time to get a generator.
Good value for money. Room was well fitted and comfortable. Spacious enough for overnight accommodation.
Parking was difficult to manoeuvre in & out, but was under cover and secure.
Friendly service, food, verandah easy chairs, ease of access.
Minimum air ventilation through unit. Good for winter.. not summer.
Lovely stylish rooms, beautiful deco and well kept property and garden. It was a cold evening and the underfloor heating and electric blankets were welcome extras!
I liked the beautiful courtyard with the braai area. Also the bathroom was very original with all the stone features. All facilities were there and it is a comfortable place to stay. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices. A definite thumbs up!
The room size. They are a little small when you arrive with a fair amount of luggage. Having said that; it would not put me of and I would certainly stay there again.
It's all about the details
Not a thing. It was perfect. Highly recommended
Good Wi - Fi Very cosy
Beautifully decorated rooms - extremely clean and neat. Small things that made a difference: a very reasonably priced minibar, plunger coffee and rusks in the room (in addition to the usual instant coffee) and a great breakfast at a beautifully set table.
Room and bathroom bit small
When we arrived, David met us with a warm welcome and instantly made us feel at home. The underfloor heating in the room made for a cosy stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast on both mornings. The filter coffee and plunger with fresh milk in our room was great. As was having a full bouquet of channels on the TV. If we are ever in the area again, we'll definitely stay here and highly recommend it to anyone else.
The shower head in our room (no. 4) made showering difficult as the water seems to spray everywhere but straight. Also a lot of water ran down from the glass panel in the bath and flooded the bathroom floor each time we tried to use the shower.
Gardener welcomes you with the keys. Who is the owner or manager?.Staff unfriendly and did not let the guests feel welcome. Breakfast cold and not value for money.Diningroom to small to fit all the guests. Bath in bathroom to small for normal guests to have a bath. Will not recommend to friends and colleagues.
