Really impressed with the new management. Overall experience was excellent, thank you!
The rooms are nice and spacious and the view
Disappointed that they discontinued the quad biking activity. The food was also disappointing (mostly too fatty and lacked flavor).
Staff are super friendly and helpful, the views are to die for and the available activities are suitable for those looking to have a break from their hectic everyday lives.
not anything noticable
it was very comfortable and staff very helpful
The big pool, the views of the mountains and the grounds/gardens to walk around.Although a little tired and unoccupied it has just been purchased by Premier Hotels who are about to start a renovation programme. We were in a lovely room in the main building - it is the chalets that are run down and unused at the moment.
Beautiful scenery.A visit to the waterfall is a must
the quad biking had been stopped and not enough activity centers.
the scenery was beautiful.
views, staff, food
Sani Pass hotel is a hidden gem. From the moment we got there we were treated as friends and welcomed in. The setting in the Berg is amazing. Views that mesmerise and long cocktails goes together very well
Rooms/buildings need a revamp - which we were told is being planned - but the rate per night was somewhat expensive. Perhaps guests were already contributing towards funding the forthcoming revamp...!
Location, location, location Breakfasts were really good Cleanliness also good
WiFi only in reception and then terribly unreliable. No aircon although being in the mountains it was not a major concern.
Staff extremely helpful and courteous Restaurant served excellent food well prepared and delicious. Rooms clean tidy and with excellent views of the mountains
Hotel in disrepair especially the cottages! Fortunately we were moved to a better room with a view of the mountains.
Location, settings and view
Rooms are a bit tired and need an update, bathrooms in the garden cottages have been renovated and are good.
Ended up in a yet to be renovated room (had been pre-warned), but essentilally not very clean or comofortable. some of facilities require attending to, eg tennis court.
Very relaxed setting with multiple opportunities for day-trips.
Buffet supper is expensive especially if not very hungry. No a la carte option, only room service
Room was very old. Light had no lamp shades and was hanging from the ceiling with visible wires. Loose wires were hanging around the room. Conference type chairs to sit on in the room. Bed was uncomfortable and small. Bathroom in serious need of an upgrade. Entire renovation needed. Surrounding area old broken concrete...could be a nice walkway with gardens. Price ridiculous for what we got.
Lounge area fine. Food not too bad. Staff pleasant but out of touch with the reality of the place.
my travel companions and I were accused of making noise. This was untrue because we slept early because we had to wake up early and tackle one of the hardest 42km road running races of our lives, The Sani Stagger. Someone just expected us to be the noisy bunch and hence the accusation. That really sucks, we will not be back in a hurry. Pity because this hotel is in one of the best locations South Africa has to offer. #room6&7
The catering was terrible. The food was very expensive but of average quality. The same Sushi was on display for days and was even the source of great entertainment for some French tourists. Although my booking included dinner and breakfast we elected to rather eat elsewhere.
The location, the staff and the facilities were great.
The food at diner. Free diner was included but we decided to eat somewhere else the second night.
Location to make tours to Sani Pass is excellent!
The outside of the buildings are in need of an upgrade
Beautiful location, friendly staff, comfortable beds.
Hotel needs renovation on the outside, a bit dated
Good location, rooms and amenities good
It was to expensive for a three star Hotel. No barfridge in the room.
dinner and breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly.
Newly renovated, family cottages, lots to do
Good food and friendly staff
