Situated only half a mile from the famous Kruger National Park in Phalabowa, the Sefapane Lodge offers comfortable accommodations in a pretty tropical garden setting. Sefapane Lodge is a great choice for guests searching for rustic, yet luxurious accommodations. The lodge is made up of 30 thatched African roundhouses, all with private verandas overlooking the lovely gardens. There are also a number of spacious safari homes with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room and kitchen, ideal for families or small groups. As an ideal base to explore Kruger, guests at Sefapane Lodge can take part in game drives, bush walks, river safaris and more. There are also many fishing and bird-watching opportunities in the area. There is a restaurant at the lodge which serves African dishes with a Western twist. Alternatively, why not try one of the lodge's evening safaris with bush brai (barbeque)? After a busy day exploring the park, guests can relax in the outdoor swimming pool or enjoy a treatment at the spa. The setting of the Lodge is impressive. The main building and recreation area are of high standard. Massage services are of a wide range and professional. The rooms are very small. The gps or Satnav coordinates are totally wrong and management are not bothered with that.

Staff were great. Location was ideal for our use. Garden setting very nice. TV in bar should be showing wildlife videos and not soccer! Chef should be replaced or sent for training. Had two dinners and both were very much below standard. The steak could not be cut with a steak knife (tried two knives) and the buffet lacked imagination in choice and presentation. I'll with-hold my comments on the lamb. Breakfasts were OK.

Pool and self catering was good. Reception staff very friendly The Dinner was substandard and Breakfast on second day was not good at all .it seems it was left overs from previous day as it was not fresh both mince and sausages.will opt for self catering only

De inplanting van de rondavels rond waterpartijen, de nabijheid Krugerpark en golf Merensky ( die kwalitatief achteruit gaat) De Nederlandstalige Hospitality dame was uitstekend, de Afrikaanse receptionistes daarentegen onvriendelijk en niet efficient

De tuin waarin de gastenverblijven liggen is prachtig, heel tropisch. Restaurant, bar en zwembad zijn omgeven door palmen, er lopen aapjes in de tuin. Het eten is prima, de bediening uiterst vriendelijk. Sefapane Lodge organiseert allerlei trips, O.A. safari's in het Krugerpark, dat vlakbij ligt. Het enige minpunt is dat Sefapane Lodge aan een vrij drukke weg ligt, wij hadden 's morgens vroeg last van de herrie van vrachtwagens.

Für Besucher des Krüger Nationalparks ein hervorragendes Quartier, sehr gutes Abendessen, schöne Führung durch den Park, sehr hilfsbereites Personal (wir hatten einen platten Autoreifen, bis zum Manager haben alle zugepackt)

Very good price for the money. Much better than lodges in the park. Really good place to bring people to Kruger for a few days. Staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced near the park. The excursions were a bit pricey, but given the cost savings on the room, well worth it. The lodge is far north, but beautiful. The family lodge was super cute & well decorated. Food very good. Would recommend having dinner as opposed to the braii. The Hippo tour was great and self drives of course.

Service, personeel heel vriendelijk wel lerend personeel, dus iets meer geduld af en toe, het eten was heerlijk, park heel mooi en goed bijgehouden. Fijne sfeer. De bedden waren heel mooi opgemaakt en leuk met een klamboe, maar veels te hard en helaas veels te kort voor lange Nederlanders, (1.90m)

Prettige ontspanne sfeer. Vriendelijk personeel. Ook op het terrein van de lodge zelf is al het nodige te zien aan vogels etc. Vlak bij de ingang van het Krugerpark. Benzine pomp en winkel dicht bij. Wij hadden een nieuwe band nodig en Ingrid is op haar vrije dag teruggekomen om dat voor ons te regelen. Perfecte service dus !
