Some folks left very early for their flight - 4am - so if you are a light sleeper like me maybe ask for a tent far away from the reception. But no earplugs, or you will miss the hyenas calling!
This is a magical place, we only wish our schedule and budget had allowed for more than one night here - but even so we had a full and memorable 24 hours thanks to the excellent, carefully worked out schedule. The camp is beautiful, we could happily have spent all day there, just watching the wildlife from the tent verandah or the welcoming bar area. But we also could not have missed the long game drives, with guides who literally could spot a chameleon from fifty paces and who clearly took pride in giving their guests the best possible views of the wildlife. The tents were very comfortable, with nice touches like turned down beds, and we liked the meals, taken on the deck and under the stars, and preceded by drums and a formal reading-out of the menu. The fact that there is no fence made the whole experience doubly exciting - yet it felt safe at all times, thanks to the staff. We would definitely come back here, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get close to nature.
