Love the VIEW! Also love the bed, shower, decor, carpet, pillow. Such a comfy stay!
Parking lot very small.
Once you are inside the lodge its beautiful with excellent service.
The parking was a nightmare.
Views are stunning
Drive up on steep roads
I like the city view.
They do not have a bath tub.
Views Value for money Friendly and helpful staff
WIFI reception was poor. 3g reception was poor.
The views and clealiness of the place. Hepful staff indeed
Very small shower Difficult street to access Too crammed parking facilities
The bed was very comfortable and nice view from the reception area.
We were on the ground room. This room has like a paper wall and door. We could here everthing from the other room and the hall. Was noisy, could not sleep all night.
I loved the position, the hotel decor, the staff - especially Darryl, the views, the breakfast was outstanding, the comfort of the rooms and the relaxed atmosphere. It is a quirky although upmarket lodge and really a great place to stay.
The bathroom very small, especially for two people and the lack of water pressure in the shower not great.
This hotel is great value for money and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing and went out their way to make our stay with our six month old baby comfortable. The view was great and the rooms were lovely.
The water pressure was dreadful and this severely affected the shower. The shower also frequently alternated between hot and cold. The Wifi didn't work in our room if our door was shut.
Amazing view of the city, interesting neighborhood. Close to most of the main attractions. Very friendly staff.
Noisy room as it was close to the linen room/laundry/pantry/facilities etc. A bit cramped, move the cupboard next to the TV and there would be space next to the bed and you could actually OPEN the cupboard doors! Not enough parking available.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good.
It is not safe to walk from the Lodge to the city. Rather use the shuttle bus or a taxi
The staff doing an outstanding job From the manager down to the cleaners.
The noise after 11pm coming from the bar floor directly above room 204
Location of Signal Hill to all the prime spots in Cape Town makes it great, Camps Bay , Clifton ,Sea Point and lots of really good restaurants close by. The staff were extremely friendly ,helpful and so obliging all the time. A real pleasure all round.
Room could have been a little bigger.
I liked the pool being outside my window and the huge Bed. As well as the view over Cape Town.
The buglarbars on the window which could not give me direct access to the pool and the water warmer that needed to be adjusted everytime I take a shower.rooms are not spacious and could hear certain noises from my neighbours.
The design of the Lodge is beautiful, and the view.....! Lovely breakfast and great service.
Everything. Breakfast was fabulous. The rooms are beautiful, clean and incredibly comfortable. Great staff and ambiance. The price is amazing.
Staff frendly and helpful.
Bathrooms really too small for such an upmarket lodge! Parking also an issue: very steep inclines. Quite noisy - could hear all preparations for breakfast from 5:30 am.
Helpful and friendly staff, view of Cape Town, easy access to city sights
Wifi doesn't always work inside room (but works in common areas)
Location, location, location. Great value for money given the deal we obtained on a very time of the year.
Bathroom was not that private and a bit small but this was no big deal for us.
Great views, walking distance from long street. Breakfast is a little overpriced. Construction workers made it difficult to relax around the pool, and their swearing at one another was quite unprofessional
The view from the restaurant and bar is amazing. The modern style
The room is really small and the bathroom is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The room is really not worth the price.
The welcome was well arranged, they knew we were coming and immediately came to guide us to the best parking spot and helped us with the suitcases. The view is good from up the hotel. You're not in the middle of all the crowds but still in a convenient place in this big city. If you're walking to V&A you can ask if the open the lower gate which saves a lot of time. The bed felt like heaven after a long flight.
The shower had very mimimal water pressure
The staff's professionalism and friendliness was great. The view is amazing from the terrace. The value for money is great
The wifi had poor connectivity in our room on the second floor. I also disliked how the air conditioner was directed towards our faces and could not be changed.
Hospitallity, decor, location
Silly geaser thingy....but not a deal breaker :)
