Everything The fact that I made 2 golf bookings 2 weeks prior to playing and when we arrived there were NO bookings after i spoke to the lady twice. We also made a reservation for dinner at reception and the reservation was NOT given through to the Restaurant

The setting is beautiful and the rooms are lovely. Excellent fittings and views. We were given an inferior room to our booked room. The staff were reluctant to assist us and suggested we accept the inferior room and resolve the problem another day. Management were not approachable and did want to address the matter with me, they insisted that the receptionist deal me us.

The staff at reception and those welcoming guests excellent. The rooms not cleaned properly,quite some flaws Restaurant staff especially waitresses laid back and not clearing tables as you finish eating The menu very limiting for dinner,no broad variety

the scenery and location was fantastic didn't replace water in fridge everyday didn't replace face towels or floor mats - had to call houskeeping and even then they took long to bring things

Simola is the perfect getaway destination withing close proximity of all modern shopping facilities. It is right next to the indigenous Knysna forest. Simola has excellent spa and body care facilities. It has a world class golf course and excellent security. All staff members are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view over the Knysna lagoon is superb. This was the most unforgettable breakaway.
