The bed was good.

Meet and greet was arranged but did not arrive. The toilet did not flush. Because of late arrival (11pm) I did not want to ask for techical help. The reception late evening was very slow. I did not find a hair dryer.

The garden is a peaceful haven of tranquility in the middle of the city, right next to a busy airport.

no decent lighting in the room, minibar not stocked unless you ask, no factual menu to use the tv easily without having to scroll thru everything, pay for wifi

Convenience After I complained on the on-line Southern Sun questionnaire form, management immediately telephoned me to enquire about my stay and rectify any further visits I have with them. Great to see complaints don't fall on deaf ears!

The ladies at reception are unfriendly. The males are much better. They started renovating the rooms above me at 06:00 on a Sunday morning!!!!

As we were catching flights the following day, it was convenient to stay there. Food was very good.

The room lighting was too dark. Loose taps in the bathroom. Our bill was rung up incorrectly but corrected the following day when I inquired about it. Lounge furniture rather shabby and dirty.

The size, the restaurant and the location.

Not enough staff. ( 2 counters open for passport check out on 16.) unacceptable.

The service and friendliness

The hotel staff were very helpful, in particular Sheila and Bernard at the reception desk

Hotel could not provide a detailed bill at checkout, indicating that because it was booked through HotelsClick.Com they were prevented from seeing the detail. Not acceptable service. For that reason, I would hesitate to recommend it to business travelers who need itemized bills.

Very expensive for a hotel that does not even have airconditioning in the rooms. They use old units that blow air through water filled radiators. Very ineffective when its really warm. Interior of rooms are very old.

Late checkout as requested was very much appreciated. Breakfast was best we've had in any hotel anywhere in the world. Great choice and friendly staff. Beds comfortable too.

We had booked two rooms enroute to Zambia from Australia and return. On booking in on our journey to Zambia one room had been cancelled and our request for interconnecting rooms had not been met. This was sorted out after a lengthy delay and we confirmed our arrangements for the return journey three weeks later. Unfortunately the same thing happened on the way home. Very frustrating when travelling with a three year old to spend half an hour in reception trying to book in. As the courtesy bus comes from the airport with up to 20 guests at a time, perhaps more staff at reception would be helpful and reduce the wait time. Also, music in lobby lovely but for Aussies with jetlag it was noise preventing much needed rest - we can't be the only ones as this is an airport hotel after all. Advance notice of pool closure would have been appreciated too - one disappointed little boy!

The fact that the bed running was really dirty and had food items stuck to it - the rest of the bed linen was fresh and clean.

The service is excellent. The food was well cooked. Room well cleaned and organised.

My shower was not working. Didnt see the need to complain then since i had already bathed. But you can check my room

they charge internet connection and they charge per MB not per hrs or day, pratically every 2 hrs you ha ve to pay and this is a disaster for business. Internet must be FREE they have to learn form many other country, one for all hong Kong.

Pay for internet?? Come on this is 2013. Get real. Rooms and bathrooms are old. Garden around the swimming pool are not much fo rthe eye.
