Breakfast .

We loved the new soap and shampoo in our room. We hadnt been back in a while and loved the new breakfast menu and layout, well done.

Unfortunately we could not connect using the free internet in our room (302).

Beautiful hotel in an absolutely stunning setting! Great selection of wine and lovely dinner menu. The rooms are spacious and very well-equipped.

After our fabulous dinner, breakfast wasn't quite up to expectation, rather mediocre.

Welcoming atmosphere with nothing too much trouble. Convenient for OR Tambo International Airport but far enough to be beyond airport hustle and noise. Beautiful room with enormous and well appointed bathroom. Am booking for another stay now.

Cost of taxi from airport - not just St Andrews but cabs to hotels in general and sadly hotel does not offer free or even discounted airport shuttle - alas.

The phone wasnt working, also the internet is very bad.

1. spa facilities is good 2. 5 mins away from east gate is very convenience for shopper. 3. staff is polite. 4. relaxing view from patio in the morning 5. Room is big

1. little hard to find the hotel. 2. basin tap was bit low to even wash hands. 3. when travelling with baby, due to no door to separate bathroom and bedroom the flushing sound in the night might wake up the baby. 4. shower tap water leaking in the night sometimes, makes water drop sounds and again, due to no door separate ... might wake you up bit.

The staff were absolutely amazing! We were made incredibly welcome on arrival! I just wish I could remember the staff names! They were all superb! Made us feel like royalty through and through! Can't actually describe how fabulous all the staff were! The rooms are totally tantalising! The hotel is just a diamond! Perfection in everyway! I begged my boyfriend to extend our stay but he had other plans ... I did not want to leave! I will certainly go back! It's a crime to book another hotel when you can stay here! Loved it!

Breakfast menu was poor especially the hot foods.

The rooms are big and comfortable. Very upmarket

The hairdryer, although had an adapter, the adapter didnt fit and there was no-where to plug it in near a mirror.

The hotel is really lovely. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to take advantage of the spa facilities. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely go back!

The breakfast could be better as well as the service at breakfast time!

We liked the environment ,the lake view, the very spacious room,the nice design and all amenities,the friendly and helpfull staff, the delicious breakfast.

The hotel is very difficult to find coming from the airport. There is no elevator

The interior design and decor are exquisite. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Excellent facilities.

No porters available when guests arrive for checking in. One staff member at reception was very unfriendly. Unfortunately I can't remember her name. She was African Black, medium height and "biggish" with curly braided hair and was on duty at reception on the morning between 09:00 - 10:30 of Wed 30th Jan 2013. I asked her for late check-out for only one hour after standard check-out time and she was extremely unfriendly, which was a pity.

The staff are amazing...(World Class Service) from everyone involved.

Beautiful hotel with stylish comfort that leaves guests in awe! I would definitely stay there again!!!! It was an awesome experience and the staff are such a pleasure!!!!

Amazing hotel - staff were excellent and our room was almost bigger than our flat back in London. Everything about our stay was magnificent.

Only small comment is that breakfast wasn't the best - quality could be improved. Breakfast is a simple thing to get right so hope they can improve on it.

Location

Bathroom was very dark, heated towel rails did not work, only 1 set of towels in the room for 2 people.

We had a very nice stay at the St. Andrewes Hotel. Staff very friendly, food excellent, nice location. Excellent.

The exceptional service and the location.

nothing bad to say about the hotel. We love it and will keep coming back.
