Lovely breakfast. Pleasant staff. My bed was a box spring instead of a mattress. After flying 34 hours the first night I was too tired to notice but the next night I finally looked to see why it was so awful -- and it was the box spring dressed with sheets and duvet! I asked the reception staff at check-out if this was normal and they said no. One person went to look but did not report back. No compensation was offered for a gross oversight in hotel management. Other than that all was very nice. |

The hotel is well-located close to the city centre and the International convention centre. It is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfasts are outstanding and overall we rated this very good value for money. |

Proximity to Conference venue and waterfront generally a bit run down. Duvets on beds were too small and a bit old. general maintenance required, elevator broke down twice in my 5 day stay. |

Pleasant staff.Cleanliness.Good food. Pillows extremely soft and uncomfortable, preventing a good night's sleep. Very poorly signposted, despite the map. Shower water gets too cold too quickly. |

I liked that it was in the city centre with easy access to shops, taxis and shuttles, and I liked the breakfast. I'm an open air person, and the lack of open windows in the room (and corridoor) was stiffling- only air conditioner was available. |

Inexpensive hotel with big guest room and it also includes breakfast. There are very friendly and helpful staff. Maybe I was early in checking in the hotel, when I entered the room the cleaning lady was still there but she was just watching TV. Another thing is that the guy next to my room mistook my room as his and strangely he could use his key to open my room! |

I received all I needed during my stay: a neat clean room, a comfortable bed, good food and good service. So I am another satisfied customer. Bookings dot.com should reflect clearly that they do not take money from your credit card, even though you give your details. This was very confusing, as my company was paying for the trip, and the finance department said that the payment was made and then I still needed to pay upon arrival - that is surely why one books and gives your details on-line. |

It was quite clean. I did not know I had to pay extra for the parking per night, which was very expensive. There is no other parking outside. The front desk lady was not friendly at all. The hotel is old and does not look like 4 stars, I have stayed in better 3 star hotels. The lifts take forever to fetch you and I was scared to get in them because they are so old. |

The warm welcome the restaurant manager gave while we went for breakfasts in the morning. The hotel does not provide complementary water bottles in the room. |

The hotel is in a very good location and is close to many of the restaurant and stores and a 3-minute walk from the train station. Breakfast is very nice and has Halaal meat (this is very important for Muslim Travellers) And the best of all that there is a bidet in the toilets were yhou can clean up after having a doooky... NOt that much, but guests have to be aware that in south africa the electrical outlets are of type M (very rare to find in other vountries) and the hotel sometimes runs out of converters so i had to buy one for like 20 ZARinfront of the hotel, |

Nice clean comfortable room at low cost with good breakfast. No frills no extra charges. Not enough information at reception about facilities e.g. business centre |

I can't comment on prices as I'm not a very good traveler. My stay was only for the night and there were no time to view the sceneries. It was rainiong while I were out for business. Sorry! There was a sewage smell in room 722. I suggest you install a disinfectant air spray as been used in some ultra cities. |

The staff were very caring in the hotel, any request was dealt with promptly. The dining room staff were friendly but not up to the hotels standard. The cook/chef who cooked the eggs was not up to standard infact she didn't seem to be trained at all. |

Rooms are nice and big. Bathrooms could do with a bit of an update. Staff are friendly, especially in the dining room. Being in the hub of the city centre, no noise travels up to the rooms from the streets below. Bathrooms could do with a bit of an update and the dining room a bit dark - decor could be much lighter due to the fact that there are no windows in the dining room. |
